Oxford: city of cultureOxford is a beautiful city with a rich cultural
history, the perfect place to spend your
summer. While Oxford is famous for its
historic building and academic tradition the
city also has a cosmopolitan atmosphere
and a lively student population. There are
lots of restaurants, cafes and shops and the
city is fi lled with museums, theatres and
cinemas. Oxford makes a great base for
exploring other parts of the UK. London is only
an hour away by train and there are cheap and
frequent buses that run 24hours a day.
Social programmeOur summer courses are a great way
to meet people from all around the world.
We arrange a welcome party at the start
of each session where you can get to
know your tutors and meet other students
on your course.
We organise a weekly programme of events
which give you an opportunity to enjoy
Oxford and the surrounding areas over
the summer.

Where you will liveWe offer self-catering accommodation in
the university’s Clive Booth hall of residence
which is a ten minute walk from the main
campus. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms
and the kitchens are shared communal
areas to be used by all students in the
apartment (usually fi ve or six students

you are sent an offi cial offer letter.
