A Week in the Life of OLL Students
April 7-11 Volunteer Appreciation Week
Cheetah Vocalists Compete
The OLL Glee Club and individual vocal competitors performed at the Catholic School Performing Arts Showcase at the Dade County Fair. These students were under the direction and guidance of Music teacher Mr. Dominick Cama and Mrs. Yoli Pelaez. The Glee Club brought back a first place ribbon for our mash-up version of “Oh Happy Day” and “Happy”. Fifth grader Danny Fernandez and sixth grader Paolo Jebian each won 1st place with special awards for their high scores. The following students won 1st place: Gabriella Escobar from eighth grade, seventh graders Samantha Arietta and Brent Becerra, fifth graders Ivana Burchi, Sophie Linares, Brianna Dorval, and Vicente Tome. Fourth grader Isabella Rosario and second grader Alyssa Castaner also won first place ribbons. Lucas Menvielle, Julie Fumero and Isabella Cardoso received Honorable Mention.
