Services: The main services offered by Tehvandi Sport Center are offering year-round training opportunities for sportsmen, organizing competitions, offering various leisure time activities, accommodation and catering.
History and Chronology: On August 17, 1977, the Statutes were adopted; the name of the institution was the Otepää Learningand Training Center.
On September 28, 1977, the director was approved by a regulation of the Committee for Physical Culture and Sports at the Council of Ministers of the Estonian SSR. In 1977, the first employees were recruited. In 1978, the Otepää Learning and Training Center of Skiing began operating. On November 3, 1978, the main building was opened.
Order No. 161/October 3, 1991, regarding the transfer of the center to the administration of the Republic of Estonia. By order No. 75/July 7, 1993, the Center started to bear the name of Estonian Olympic Learning and Training Center "Tehvandi".
Between January 1, 1995, and December 31, 2004, the Center was administered by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Estonia.
Since January 1, 2005, the Center’s form of operating has been the Tehvandi Sport Center Foundation. The founders of the foundation were the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Estonia, the Otepää rural municipality and the Estonian Ski Association.

PARMET Ltd., established in 1992, is a manufacturer of metal suspended ceilings. Year by year the company has introduced new types of suspended ceilings. In the first year only one type of plain suspended ceilings was manufactured. At present, besides different plain suspended ceilings, coffered suspended ceilings mounted on different types of frames as well as lowered ceilings are being made. PARMET started production of frontal coffers in 1995.
Steel coffers only were offered initially, but at the present
the frontal coffers are produced from the large variety of
different materials: aluminum, aluminum composite plate,
stainless steel sheet, Corten rusty steel sheet, titan zinc
sheet etc. Number of different frontal coffers types are

OTEKS AS is the manufacturing company, established in 1992. Carpet weaving is one of the main fields of activity which they have done now for more than eighteen years.
