April 27th, 2011 marked the most destructive tornado outbreak in United States history, leaving our lab headquarters in Huntsville, Al without power for over 4 days. From this experience we realized that we cannot allow the weather to stand in the way of your patients receiving their beautiful smiles on the scheduled due date. The generator photographed above was purchased to ensure that when nature strikes, Oral Arts will be supplied with enough power to fully operate it's 70,000 sq.ft. Facility. We have the power your practice depends on.

Photographed above are Oral Arts' Certied Dental Technicians (CDT's). Our CDT's are certied in one or more of the following specialties: Orthodontics, Partials, Dentures, Ceramics, or Crown & Bridge. Oral Arts is committed to training and educating our U.S.A. based workforce, realizing we are only as good as our people. While many laboratories are sending their cases oshore and not disclosing the country of origin to their clients and patients, all of Oral Arts’ restorations are made in U.S.A with high quality materials. The CDT and CDL certications are playing an increasingly impor-tant role in our industry as the NADL and the ADA collaborate on the importance of regulatory programs. The NADL and ADA are together seeing that the lack of regulation in the dental lab industry is a threat to patient health and safety and the certication programs serve as a source of third party oversight. Oral Arts is proud to be a Certied Dental Laboratory (CDL) recognized by the National Association of Dental Laboratories (NADL), the American Dental Association (ADA) and the American College of Prosthodontists (ACP).

The New Gold Standard

You’ll be impressed by the esthetics of BruxZir Solid Zirconiawhen prescribed instead of metal occlusal PFM’s and full-castmetal restorations. Virtually chip-proof, BruxZir is a full-contour zirconia crown, bridge, inlay or onlay with noporcelain overlay. Designed and milled using CAD/CAM technology, BruxZirrestorations are sintered for 6.5 hours at 1,530 degrees Celsius. Oral Arts Precision Milled Bars are created with thetechnology to achieve a truly passive t. These are availablefor overdenture bars, primary bars and xed hybrid designs. This technology does not require any wax or resin design fromthe technician. The bars can be made on most major dentalimplants and abutments. Because these are milled from onesolid piece of lightweight titanium, the potential for weaknesscaused by soldering or laser welded joints is eliminated. Youreceive a completed superstructure ready for prosthesisprocessing. No polishing or retention creation necessary.Tap holes for attachments. Copy Milled Bars are alsoavailable for those who prefer to design a bar or frameworkin resin pattern to the patient’s specications.

e scanned model is transformedinto a 3D image, making it possibleto create the desired tooth shape.

When the optimal dimensions of thedesired tooth have been determined, the abutments are designed.

e final design is checked for fit andocclusal clearance before the abutmentsare manufactured.

Optimal function and esthetics Available for all major implant systemsand in the materials you want Lab-based scanning options availablefor further increased eciency Quality you can depend on regardlessof case size or order volume

Oral Arts Lab is a leader in implant case fabrication. Our technicians have an outstanding knowledge and understanding of implant systems and are available at any time to discuss the many options we have available. The unique anatomical shape and emergence prole of the abutment promotes long-term soft-tissue management and provides optimal support and retention of the nal restoration. Margins can be placed at an ideal level for easy and safe removal of excess cement.

Valplast® invented the concept of partial dentures that can ex along with a patients movement to create a far more comfortable t. Valplast is a exible denture base resin which is ideal for partial dentures and unilateral restorations. It provides a fully functional partial that looks better, feels better and is more durable than conventional metal rigid partials. The resin is a biocompatible nylon thermoplastic that allows your patient's natural tissue tone to appear through the material. The translucency of the Valplast material makes it the ideal product for cases when patients don’t choose a xed restoration or implant, but still want a highly esthetic restoration. Valplast uses the Retento-Grip® tissue-bearing technique for retention, so no tooth or tissue preparation is needed.
