Thank you for purchasing a Panasonic product.
The Electronic Touch Pen for plasma TV (hereafter referred to as “Touch Pen”) can be used only with a Panasonic plasma TV to which application for Touch Pen operation has been installed.Before using, attach the supplied Bluetooth adaptor to a plasma TV which is not equipped with the Bluetooth® communication function.* For the types of plasma TV compatible with this kit, visit Panasonic Homepage.http://panasonic.jp/support/global/cs/tv/index.html
Up to two Touch Pen can be used at a time. Before operating this product, please read the instructions carefully, and save this manual for future use. Before using this product, be sure to read “Safety Precautions” and “Using Precautions” ( pages 2 - 5).

Operation on the screen Do not forcibly hit or pick the TV screen with the Touch Pen.The TV may fall, or scratch of the screen may result.Falling of TV may cause injury.• Do not allow parts other than the pen tip of Touch Pen to touch the
screen. This may cause scratch of the screen.• Do not move the pen with its pen tip pressed to the screen with force,
or do not move the pen fast. This may cause scratch of the screen.
Using Touch Pen Stop using the Touch Pen immediately if your skin feels unusual.In rare cases, the paint or materials used in the Touch Pen may cause an allergic reaction.
Stop using the Touch Pen immediately if you experience any redness, pain, or itching.Prolonged use may cause such symptoms due to excess pressure, which may result in the user feeling unwell.
Use the Touch Pen taking a break sometimes. Guideline for continuous use is approx. 1 hour.Eyestrain or physical deconditioning may result due to continuous use for long period of time.

Using PrecautionsCautions
Do not use devices that emit strong electromagnetic waves (such as mobile phones or personal transceivers) near the Touch Pen. Doing so may cause the Touch Pen to malfunction. The Touch Pen cannot operate fully at high or low temperatures.Please use within the specifi ed usage temperature range ( page 14).
Using radio wavesThis unit uses the 2.4 GHz radio frequency ISM band (Bluetooth®). However other wireless equipment may use the same frequency. Be sure to take note of the following to prevent radio wave interference from other equipment.
Restriction of useFor use only in your country.
Interference from other equipmentDue to radio interference, malfunctions may occur if the unit is placed too close to other equipment. We recommend keeping the unit as far away as possible from the following devices:Bluetooth® devices other than this unit, wireless LAN, microwaves, offi ce automation devices, digital cordless telephones and other electronic devices.The unit is designed to automatically avoid radio interference from these household devices. However malfunctions may happen when radio interference occurs.

Power buttonPress the button once to turn the power on. Pressing the button approx. 2 seconds or longer while the power is on will turn the power off.This is also used when registering the Touch Pen on the television. Inserting the batteryWhen the battery level is low, the indicator lamp blinks 5 times when the Touch Pen is turned on.(Replacing the battery at an early stage is recommended.)
1. Turn and slide the unit cover until the entire shape of the battery is visible.

NOTE• Use the specifi ed battery (R03 manganese battery or LR03
alkaline battery).• Do not reverse the polarity (positive and negative ) of
the battery when inserting.• Dispose of the used battery as an incombustible waste or
according to the regulations in your area. • The unit cover can be opened only up to the point where the
battery is placed. Do not forcibly try to open further than that.

RegistrationRegistration to the TV for this use is required when using the Touch Pen for the fi rst time after purchase or using it on another TV.1. Turn the (plasma) TV on to start registration of the Touch
Pen by operation on the TV.Before using, attach the supplied Bluetooth adaptor to a plasma TV which is not equipped with the Bluetooth® communication function. ( page 10)• For how to start registration of the Touch Pen, see the
operating instructions of the TV.2. Press the power button with the Touch Pen turned off.
(When performing registration on another TV again, press the power button for 5 seconds or longer.)• Registration of the Touch Pen to the TV will start.• The indicator lamp blinks in red and green alternately
during registration. • Place the Touch Pen within 50 cm from the TV during
registration.• The Touch Pen automatically turns off if registration fails
even if 2 minutes or longer have elapsed.3. When the indicator lamp blinks in green for approx. 3
seconds, registration is complete and the TV is connected at the same time.• After registration, when the Touch Pen is turned on near the
TV that is already on, it will be automatically reconnected to the TV.
• If registration is cancelled on the TV, register it again.

How to hold the Touch PenHold the Touch Pen as shown in the fi gure.
Hold the centre of the Touch Pen. Lightly press the tip side of the Touch Pen vertically against the screen of the TV so that the tip is pushed in.If the pen is largely tilted or the tip is not pushed in, it does not operate normally.
How to use the Touch PenPerform the following operations using the Touch Pen when selecting screen operation or items, or using software for Touch Pen.

Attaching the Bluetooth adaptorAttaching the Bluetooth adaptor is required when using the Touch Pen with a TV which is not equipped with the Bluetooth® communication function.1. Press the power button on the TV to turn the TV off.2. Insert the connector of the Bluetooth adaptor to the USB
terminal on the TV.3. Remove the release paper of the two-sided tape attached
to the back side of the Bluetooth adaptor, and attach the Bluetooth adaptor with the two-sided tape to the position on the TV shown in the fi gure.

Storage and Cleaning Clean using a soft, dry cloth. Do not use benzene, thinner, or wax on the Touch Pen, as doing so may cause the paint to peel off. Do not dunk the Touch Pen in liquid such as water when cleaning. Avoid storing the Touch Pen in hot or highly humid locations. Remove soil stuck to the pen tip with a cotton swab, etc. Be careful not to subject the pen tip to impact since it is equipped with the sensor. Using with soil or foreign matters attached will cause scratch of the screen.
DisposalA battery is included in the package, but not built in to the unit. If you discard this product, please contact your local authorities or dealer and ask for the correct method of disposal.
Do not disassemble this product.
DangerAs the battery is specifi cally for this product, do not use it for any other device.Do not charge the removed battery.
Do not throw the battery in a fi re, or apply heat to it. Do not pierce the battery with a nail, subject it to an impact, or dismantle or modify it. Do not let the wires touch any other metal or each other. Do not carry or store the battery with a necklace, hair pin, or the like. Do not charge, use, or leave the battery in a hot location such as near a fi re or under the hot sun.
Doing so may cause the battery to generate heat, ignite, or rupture.

WarningDo not place the removed battery, screws, and other items within reach of infants.Accidental swallowing of such an item may have an adverse effect on the body.
In the event that you think such an item has been swallowed, consult a doctor immediately.
In the event of fl uid leaking from the battery, take the following measure, and do not touch the fl uid with bare hands.Fluid entering into an eye may cause loss of eyesight.
Wash the eye with water immediately without rubbing it, and then consult a doctor.
Fluid getting on your body or clothes may cause infl ammation of the skin or injury.
Suffi ciently rinse with clean water, and then consult a doctor.

The Touch Pen does not work.
► Has the Touch Pen been registered to the TV?Perform registration if the pen has not been registered or you are not sure of the registration. ( page 8)Before use, register the pen to the TV for viewing. ( page 8)
► Is the TV in the Touch Pen mode?For how to switch to the Touch Pen mode, see the operating instructions of the TV.
► Has the Bluetooth adaptor been connected to the TV which is not equipped with the Bluetooth® communication function? ( page 10)
Cannot register a Touch Pen to TV.
► Does the TV support on this Touch Pen? ( page 2)
► Is the distance from the TV within 50 cm? ► The Touch Pen automatically turns off if registration
cannot be performed within 2 minutes. In this case, register again. ( page 8)
Reaction is not good when touching or drawing with the Touch Pen.
► Hold the Touch Pen as vertically as possible to the screen. ► Check if the tip is pressed in when the Touch Pen
touches the screen. ► Hold as centre as possible of the Touch Pen.
The indicator lamp does not illuminate even if the Power button is pressed.
► The battery may have run out.The battery is empty if the indicator lamp does not illuminate even if the Power button is pressed. Replace the battery.
If the Touch Pen is turned on, the indicator lamp blinks but turns off in several minutes.
► The Touch Pen automatically turns off if touching or drawing operation is not performed for 5 minutes. Turn the power on again.
► The Touch Pen has not been registered to the TV. Perform registration again( page 8)

Panasonic Warranty
1. The product is warranted for 12 months from the date of purchase. Subject to the conditions of this warranty Panasonic or its Authorised Service Centre will perform necessary service on the product without charge for parts or labour if, in the opinion of Panasonic, the product is found to be faulty within the warranty period.
2. This warranty only applies to Panasonic products purchased in Australia and sold by Panasonic Australia or its Authorised Distributors or Dealers and only where the products are used and serviced within Australia or it’s territories. Warranty cover only applies to service carried out by a Panasonic Authorised Service Centre and only if valid proof of purchase is presented when warranty service is requested.
3. This warranty only applies if the product has been installed and used in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations (as noted in the operating instructions) under normal use and reasonable care (in the opinion of Panasonic). The warranty covers normal domestic use only and does not cover damage, malfunction or failure resulting from use of incorrect voltages, incorrect installation, accident, misuse, neglect, build-up of dirt or dust, abuse, maladjustment of customer controls, mains supply problems, thunderstorm activity, infestation by insects or vermin, tampering or repair by unauthorised persons (including unauthorised alterations), introduction of sand, humidity or liquids, commercial use such as hotel, offi ce, restaurant, or other business or rental use of the product, exposure to abnormally corrosive conditions or any foreign object or matter having entered the product.
4. This warranty does not cover the following items unless the fault or defect existed at the time of purchase:(a) Cabinet Part(s)(b) Video or Audio Tapes(c) SD cards or USB devices(d) User replaceable Batteries(e) DVD Video, Blu-ray, or Recordable Discs(f) Video / Audio Heads from wear and tear in normal use(g) Information stored on Hard Disk Drive, USB stick or SD card(h) DTV reception issues caused by TV Aerial / Cabling / Wall
socket(s) etc5. Some products may be supplied with Ethernet connection hardware.
The warranty is limited on such products and will not cover(a) Internet and or DLNA connection / setup related problems(b) Access fees and or charges incurred for internet connection(c) The use of incompatible software or software not specifi cally
stipulated in the product operations manual; and(d) Any indirect or consequential costs associated with the incorrect
use or misuse of the hardware, its connection to the internet or any other device.
6. To claim warranty service, when required, you should: Telephone Panasonic’s Customer Care Centre on 132600 or visit our website referred to below and use the Service Centre Locator for the name/address of the nearest Authorised Service Centre.
Send or take the product to a Panasonic Authorised Service Centre together with your proof of purchase receipt as a proof of purchase date. Please note that freight and insurance to and / or from your nearest Authorised Service Centre must be arranged by you.
Note that home or pick-up/delivery service is available for the following products in the major metropolitan areas of Australia or the normal operating areas of the nearest Authorised Service Centres:- Plasma/LCD televisions / displays (screen size greater than 103 cm)

7. The warranties hereby conferred do not extend to, and exclude, any costs associated with the installation, de-installation or re-installation of a product, including costs related to the mounting, de-mounting or remounting of any screen, (and any other ancillary activities), delivery, handling, freighting, transportation or insurance of the product or any part thereof or replacement of and do not extend to, and exclude, any damage or loss occurring by reason of, during, associated with, or related to such installation, de-installation, re-installation or transit.
Panasonic Authorised Service Centres are located in major metropolitan areas and most regional centres of Australia, however, coverage will vary dependant on product. For advice on exact Authorised Service Centre locations for your product, please telephone our Customer Care Centre on 132600 or visit our website and use the Service Centre Locator.
In addition to your rights under this warranty, Panasonic products come with consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If there is a major failure with the product, you can reject the product and elect to have a refund or to have the product replaced or if you wish you may elect to keep the goods and be compensated for the drop in value of the goods. You are also entitled to have the product repaired or replaced if the product fails to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
If there is a major failure in regard to the product which cannot be remedied then you must notify us within a reasonable period by contacting the Panasonic Customer Care Centre. If the failure in the product is not a major failure then Panasonic may choose to repair or replace the product and will do so in a reasonable period of time from receiving notice from you.

指示燈
使用或充電時會亮起或閃爍以表示電池電量和觸控筆的狀態。• 在開啟時亮起約 2 秒，然後每隔約 2 秒就閃爍一次。
最多可同時使用兩支觸控筆。紅色指示燈表示觸控筆 1 的運作，綠色指示燈表示觸控筆 2 的運作。

Cấ t giữ và Là m sạ ch Lau bằ ng vả i khô, mề m. Không sử dụng benzen, chất pha loãng hoặc sáp trên Touch Pen, vì làm như vậy có thể khiến sơn bị bong ra. Không nhúng Touch Pen vào chất lỏng, chẳng hạn như nước, khi làm sạch. Tránh nơi có độ ẩm cao và nhiệt độ cao khi cất giữ Touch Pen. Loại bỏ đất bị mắc kẹt vào đầu bút bằng một tăm bông v.v...Hãy cẩn thận không để đầu bút bị va đập do nó được trang bị cảm biến. Sử dụng khi có đất hoặc các vật lạ dính vào sẽ gây xước màn hình.
Vứt bỏ rácPin có trong gói, nhưng chưa được lắp vào bộ thiết bị. Nếu bạn loại bỏ sản phẩm này, xin vui lòng liên hệ với chính quyền địa phương hoặc đại lý bán lẻ của bạn và hỏi về phương pháp xử lý phù hợp.

Không sạc, sử dụng, hay đặt pin vào chỗ nóng như gần lửa hoặc dưới ánh nắng mặt trời.
Làm như vậy có thể làm pin phát sinh nhiệt, nóng chảy, hay hư hỏng.

Cả nh bá oKhông để pin, ốc vít, và những phụ kiện khác đã được tháo ra trong tầm tay trẻ em.Nếu vô tình nuốt phải một trong những phụ kiện này thì có thể gây ảnh hưởng xấu đến cơ thể.
Trong trường hợp mà bạn nghĩ trẻ đã nuốt một trong những phụ kiện này, hãy liên hệ ngay với bác sỹ.
Trong trường hợp có chất lỏng rò rỉ từ pin, không nên chạm tay vào chất lỏng đó mà hãy xử lý theo cách sau.Nếu chất lỏng rơi vào mắt thì có thể gây mù.
Vì thế không nên dụi mắt mà hãy dùng nước để rửa mắt ngay, sau đó hãy liên hệ với bác sỹ.
Nếu chất lỏng dính vào cơ thể hay quần áo thì có thể sẽ gây phỏng da hay thương tích.
Rửa thật kỹ với nước sạch, sau đó hãy liên hệ với bác sỹ.

► Giữ Touch Pen theo thẳng đứng nhất có thể với màn hình. ► Kiểm tra xem đầu gọng có bị nhấn vào chưa khi Touch
Pen chạm vào màn hình. ► Giữ càng gần chính giữa Touch Pen càng tốt.
Đèn chỉ báo không sáng ngay cả khi nút Nguồn được nhấn.
► Pin có thể đã kiệt hết.Pin đã cạn kiệt nếu đèn chỉ báo không sáng ngay cả khi nút Nguồn được nhấn. Hãy thay thế pin.

■ テレビ画面をタッチペンで強く叩いたり突いたりしないでくださいテレビの転倒や、画面の傷の原因になります。テレビの転倒によるけがの原因になります。

タッチペン使用上の注意事項この機器の使用周波数帯域では、電子レンジなどの産業・科学・医療機器のほか、工場の製造ラインなどで使用される移動体識別用の構内無線局（免許を要する無線局）および特定小電力無線局（免許を要しない無線局）、ならびにアマチュア無線局（免許を要する無線局）が運用されています。1 この機器を使用する前に、近くで移動体識別用の構内無線局及び特定小電力無線局ならびにアマチュア無線局が運用されていない事を確認してください。
2 万一、この機器から移動体識別用の構内無線局に対して有害な電波干渉の事例が発生した場合には、すみやかに場所を変更するか、または電波の使用を停止したうえ、パナソニック VIERA（ビエラ）ご相談窓口（ 13ページ）にご連絡いただき、混信回避のための処置など（例えば、パーティションの設置など）についてご相談ください。

各部の名称とはたらき
■電源ボタン１回押すと電源が入ります。電源が入っているときに約２秒以上長く押すと電源が切れます。
タッチペンをテレビに登録するときにも使用します。登録の方法については、登録のページを参照してください。（ 7ページ）タッチペンは５分間タッチや描画をしないと自動的に電源が切れます。
使用中に点灯または点滅して、電池残量やタッチペンの状態を示します。
■インジケータランプ
● 電源を入れると、約2秒間赤く点灯したあと、約2秒間隔で点滅します。タッチペンは最大2本までご使用でき、タッチペン１で動作するときは赤色、タッチペン２で動作するときは緑色で点滅します。● タッチペンをテレビに登録する時にも点灯・点滅します。登録の方法については、登録のページを参照してください。（ 7ページ）● 電池の残量が少なくなると、電源を入れたときに5回連続で点滅します。
■ペン先画面には、タッチペンのこちら側の先端部を押し当てて使用してください。誤ってご使用になると、画面に傷がつくおそれがあります。

登録お買い上げ後初めてタッチペンをお使いになるときや、別のテレビでタッチペンをお使いになるときは、お使いになるテレビへの登録が必要です。
① お使いになる（プラズマ）テレビの電源を入れて、テレビ側の操作でタッチペンの登録手続きを開始してください。登録開始の前に、Bluetooth® 通信機能を搭載していないテレビには付属のBluetooth アダプタをテレビに取り付けてください。（ 9ページ）タッチペン登録を開始する方法は、ご使用のテレビの取扱説明書をご覧ください。② タッチペンの電源が入っていない状態で、電源ボタンを押してください。（別のテレビで登録をしなおす場合は、電源ボタンを5秒以上押し続けてください）タッチペンのテレビへの登録が始まります。登録中はインジケータランプが赤と緑に交互に連続して点滅します。登録中はタッチペンをテレビから50cm以内の距離に置いてください。2分以上経っても登録ができなかった場合は、自動的にタッチペンの電源が切れます。③ インジケータランプが緑色に約３秒間点滅したら登録が完了し、同時にテレビに接続されます。登録後は電源の入っているテレビの近くでタッチペンの電源を入れると自動的にテレビと再接続します。テレビ側で登録を解除した場合は、再度登録してください。

保管・お手入れ● 保管の際は、湿度の高いところや、温度が高くなるところを避けてください。
● お手入れはやわらかい乾いた布を使ってください。やわらかい布にほこりなどが付着していると、製品に傷がつきます。ご使用前にほこりなどをはらってください。なおベンジンやシンナー、ワックスなどは、塗装がはがれる原因になりますので、使用しないでください。
● お手入れの際に、タッチペンを水などの液体につけないでください。
