Many of Highway EquipmentCompany’s customers from WesternPennsylvania are currently doing work in theUtica Gas Shale Play in Ohio. Thomas andHighway Equipment Company will be thereto take care of their equipment service needs,as well as the service needs of other Ohiocontractors. Thomas has service experience in the oil

and gas industry having worked for some ofthe major pipeline and oil and gas contrac-tors working in Ohio. He also is an experi-enced operator of heavy equipment. Thomas has served four years in the

United States Marine Corp, as an equipmentmaintenance technician, where he learnedabout troubleshooting problems with dieselengines, hydraulics, electrical and preventive

maintenance on heavy equipment. TheUnited States Marine Corps has taughtThomas a lot about equipment and alsoabout working as a team player to get the jobdone and respect for others, he said. Ohio Rental Awards Hy-TekJCB Knox County Contract

Hy-Tek JCB, the construction equipmentdivision of Hy-Tek Material Handling Inc.,has been awarded a contract from OhioRental, located in Knox County, Ohio.
