Congregational Life

This Morning during our worship service we will commemorate Jesus’ death and resurrection as we celebrate the Lord’s Supper. We invite children and adults, all who have professed Jesus as their Lord and Savior to join us in communion. The second offering is the Benevolence offering. It is a thank offering for the Benevolent Fund. The deacons use this fund to help those in need who are a part of this body and from the community.

Lenten Meals: Join us next Wednesday from 6:00– 7:00 pm for soup and bread and a devotion, contemplating the last words Jesus spoke while on the cross.

Good Friday Service: First CRC invited our congregation to join them for a combined service on Friday, April 14th @ 7 pm at First CRC. Save the date! The Board of Northwest Hispanic Ministry invites you to a free dinner and a time to rejoice as Joe Strong shares how God is changing lives and building His kingdom here in Western Washington. Banquet locations and times are Friday, April 28th at 6:00 p.m. at First CRC in Mt. Vernon and Saturday, April 29th at 5:30 p.m. at Third Christian Reformed Church in Lynden. Reserve the date and plan to attend.

From the Ackermanns: “We are so thankful to the Lord for healing and also for this caring church. Thank you for your prayers and concerns.”

Accessing old bulletins online: go to faithcommunityfellowship.org—select “sermons,” then click on the title of the sermon of the date you are looking for. Select “bulletin.”

A Warm Welcome to all who are worshipping with us today. If you are a visitor or new to our church, please fill out a visitor’s card located on the table in the entryway. A nursery is provided for infants and toddlers through age 3, located in the hallway of the entryway. Children’s Bulletins are available on the table by the door in the entry way for the younger children. Prayer Requests: Inserts are in the bulletin for prayer requests. If you have a request, please fill the insert out and place it in the offering basket when it comes around or the prayer box in the back of the sanctuary. Requests are prayed for on Tuesday and also printed in the bulletin unless they are marked confidential. Children and Worship is a worship time for children ages 3 through kindergarten that occurs during the worship service. Watch for the yellow banner during the service!
