MISSIONS UPDATEOperation Christmas Child is a fantastic way to get involved in the evangelism and discipleship of children around the world! Word of Life has partnered with Chick-fil-A this year and for every shoebox filled and returned to WOL by November 6, you will receive a Chick-fil-A gift card for a free sandwich. However, we will continue collecting shoeboxes until November 20.

Thanksgiving Food Voucher Request Forms are available through November 13 at the Connection Center. If you are a member or regular attendee of Word of Life and need financial assistance for your Thanksgiving Dinner, please complete a form.

Surviving the Holidays on Saturday, November 19 will run from 10am to Noon invarious classrooms. Holidays can be a difficult time for those who have sufferedloss, grief, or abuse. This opportunity is a must to help you find joy and a way tosee you through them. Registration information is in this newsletter and at theConnection Center.

Wednesday Evening Services end on November 23 and will resume in January 2017.

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD SHOEBOXES DUE HERE NOVEMBER 20Demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way by partnering with Samaritan’s Purse to deliver your gift-filled shoebox and the Good News

of Jesus Christ to hurting children around the world. Brochures with instructions, labels, and shoeboxes to fill are in the lobbies. If you bring your shoebox in by November 6, you will receive a Chick-fil-A gift card!

WONDERFUL WEDNESDAYSWe encourage families to keep midweek 7 PM Bible Study a priority. We provide tender-loving care for infants in our Nursery.

Classes for ages 2-12 come alive with praise music, Bible lessons, snacks, and fun. Our elementary students and their guests love our Faith Action Kids Club, including Bible Life Application Skills like fitness, nutrition, and serving.

LIGHT - LEANING INTO GOD’S HEALING TOUCH: TUESDAYS, 7 PM IN WAVE WALKER VILLAGE LIGHT is a Christ-centered support group to help children who are dealing with divorce, death of a loved one,

domestic violence, and alcohol/drug abusing parents, depression, or other painful life situations.

CARE AND SUPPORT FOR MOTHERS OF PRESCHOOLERS “BLOOM” AT WORD OF LIFEMeets Wednesdays 9:30-11:30 AM in the KidZone Loft (above the preschool rooms in the new wing). Childcare is provided.

CHILD CHECK-IN SECURITY PLAN: THE 20/20 RULE The Life Kidz check-in counter will be open 20 minutes before and 20 minutes after the start of services.

Please plan accordingly. Thirty minutes into the service our children’s wing is secured.
