After putting itself firmly back on track at the last motor show in Geneva Peugeot has really put its foot down over the first half of 2015 and appeared at Frankfurt on top form Herersquos a little recap on how Peugeot have performed
Environmental footprint Peugeot is the benchmarkPSA Peugeot Citroen has set itself the target of an average CO2 of 95gkm within the EU-28 to be reached by 2020 In the first five months of 2015 it was the first car maker with CO2 to go below 110gkm with 1069gkm achieved while the manufacturersrsquo (all marques) average stands at 1214g CO2km
With 25 Best-in-Class vehicles in six different ranges Peugeot has confirmed its position as the benchmark for its environmental footprint and running efficiency This applies to the full range from compact to the larger vehicles
308 GTi by Peugeot SportTwo years after its launch the Peugeot 308 has become the Brandrsquos worldwide best-seller In the highly competitive European C segment 308 is now in the top three (3rd best-selling vehicle in Europe in the hatchback and estate category) After the launch of the

GT and GT Line versions at the start of the year 308 is continuing its performance pace with the arrival of the accomplished 308 GTi by Peugeot Sport
This version takes the 308 range into a whole new dimension taking it to new heights which follows the achievements made with the RCZ R and 208 GTi (first as the 30th and now) by Peugeot Sport
Peugeot 308 R HYbrid supercar performance from an award-winning carWith its tracks widened by 80mm and its muscular stance Peugeot 308 R HYbrid Concept certainly stands out from the crowd And the figures are very impressive with plug-in hybrid technology that develops 500hp including 270hp from the 16-litre THP petrol engine and two electric motors with 115hp each This formidable vehicle can achieve 0 to 62mph in just 4 seconds and just 22 seconds to cover 1000 metres from a standing start

Peugeot FRACTAL is an electric urban coupeacute revealing a prospective design of the Peugeot i-Cockpitreg that explores another of the senses following on from visual sight embodied by the head-up display and touch with the compact steering wheel and touch screen Peugeot FRACTAL showcases unprecedented attention to acoustics in automotive design The result is a level of auditory perception that further enriches the driving experience
Peugeot FRACTAL Concept also features a sound signature created by sound designer Amon Tobin which plays when the driver opens the doors using the smartwatch remote system What follows is a unique electric coupeacute driving experience offering a wealth of sensory exploration

The FRACTALs styling also embodies the cars ease in an urban environment which is reflected in the dynamic lines that flow along the length of the smooth body The Coupe Franche finish further enhances the sense of vitality with a sharp shift from intense pearly white to matt black at the door hinges
The Peugeot i-Cockpitreg offers an unparalleled experience combining instinctive ergonomics with an unprecedented ambience The choice of materials is inspired by auditoriums and recording studios black oak decorates the instrument panel door panels and bucket seats copper trim reminiscent of audio connections runs through the interior with 3D-printed anechoic motifs enhancing acoustic comfort A 3D textile mesh covers the seats and is offset by white leather trim
Weighing in at just 1000kg Peugeot FRACTAL goes from 0 to 62mph in 68 seconds while offering a new sensory experience for the ears and can cover 1000 metres from a standing start in 288 seconds The 30kWh battery powers two 75kW102hp electric motors one on each axle and offers a Combined Drive Cycle potential distance of 280miles

The RCZ ndash An end of an era ldquoThis is no ordinary parting Peugeot has decided to say goodbye to the fantastic RCZ sports car ndash a car that not only looks beautiful but in the R model is one of the most exciting on the roadrdquo according to a popular journalist ldquoIf you are lucky you may still be able to pick one up in showrooms before the end of the year If you are unlucky you may never get to drive one of these superb cars and that would truly be a shame because it really is thrilling ldquoTo mark the last of the RCZ line Peugeot sent the R model for a last hurrah around Scotland ndash a wonderful opportunity for me to get behind the wheel one last time and pretend this car was mine ldquoIt is hard not to regret already the passing of that great design ndash the sleek nose the wonderful
roofline that drops to the rear spoiler and the twin exhausts It all added to the character and elegance of the RCZ And then with the R version there is the phenomenal performance ldquoThe RCZ R is responsive quick to leap forward and the handling is beautifully positive You put your foot down gently and before you know it you realise you had better slow down ldquoIt takes corners in its stride and it feels so good when you push it And it is easy to understand why when you learn its DNA is embedded in Peugeot Sport ndash it is a race-bred road car ldquoInside the R badging looks good and the black leather and Alcantara finish looks spectacular with the contrasting red stitchingrdquo We will truly miss the RCZ ndash it brightened up our lives amp our roads

Michael joined Norton Way three years ago as a Service Technician after having 10 years previous brand experience with Peugeot
After joining the group Michael quickly showed his ambition to become a Master Technician and pushed us to help him achieve this In 2014 Michael achieved his Master Technician Qualification after a series of challenging written and practical exams this was a fantastic achievement for him
Michael started his journey to a Master Technician at the age of 16 as an Apprentice The dream of fixing cars however started as a young boy and he could never ever see himself doing anything different
Michael believes the best part about working for Norton Way is that it has a nice and relaxed atmosphere and he loves how the senior management treat their employees saying ldquoThey seem to care about you and your developmentrdquo
His favourite vehicles in the range are the RCZ-R and the 208 GTi this is mainly down to his love of sports cars
Michaelsrsquo love of Sports cars is shown in his collection of cars Last year he owned his pride and joy a Porsche 911 he describes the vehicle as amazing Michael managed to use the Porsche for one of his hobbies- track days He visited the Nuremberg ring as part of a road trip to Germany

Michael joined Norton Way three years ago as a Service Technician after having 10 years previous brand experience with Peugeot
After joining the group Michael quickly showed his ambition to become a Master Technician and pushed us to help him achieve this In 2014 Michael achieved his Master Technician Qualification after a series of challenging written and practical exams this was a fantastic achievement for him
Michael started his journey to a Master Technician at the age of 16 as an Apprentice The dream of fixing cars however started as a young boy and he could never ever see himself doing anything different
Michael believes the best part about working for Norton Way is that it has a nice and relaxed atmosphere and he loves how the senior management treat their employees saying ldquoThey seem to care about you and your developmentrdquo
His favourite vehicles in the range are the RCZ-R and the 208 GTi this is mainly down to his love of sports cars

Michael joined Norton Way three years ago as a Service Technician after having 10 years previous brand experience with Peugeot
After joining the group Michael quickly showed his ambition to become a Master Technician and pushed us to help him achieve this In 2014 Michael achieved his Master Technician Qualification after a series of challenging written and practical exams this was a fantastic achievement for him
Michael started his journey to a Master Technician at the age of 16 as an Apprentice The dream of fixing cars however started as a young boy and he could never ever see himself doing anything different
Michael believes the best part about working for Norton Way is that it has a nice and relaxed atmosphere and he loves how the senior management treat their employees saying ldquoThey seem to care about you and your developmentrdquo
His favourite vehicles in the range are the RCZ-R and the 208 GTi this is mainly down to his love of sports cars
Michaelsrsquo love of Sports cars is shown in his collection of cars Last year he owned his pride and joy a Porsche 911 he describes the vehicle as amazing Michael managed to use the Porsche for one of his hobbies- track days He visited the Nuremberg ring as part of a road trip to Germany
