A dream realized....CNIS Centre for Social Action ‘Gram Darshan’ a charity drive programmeof Christ Nagar International School students, Trivandrum, hasconstructed and donated a small and beautiful house to Mr Raju a poorman from Kattakkada.Rev Fr Provincial Dr Kuncheria Pathil CMI, blessed the house and RevFr Mathews Chakkalakkal, Manager handed over the key to Mr Raju.Rev Frs Josey Kollammalil, Cyriac Kanayil, Joseph Ayyamkary, ReniKalathail, George Vempadanthara and his parishioners from Germany,Mr Thomas Mani, Teachers and students of CNIS were also presentduring the blessing ceremony.This is the fourth social service project of CNIS. Sponsoring the studyexpenses of a poor nursery school at Koliyoor, sponsoring the children ofpoor fishermen community of Valiyathura, sponsoring the Children atRCC-Trivandrum etc.. were some of the projects undertaken by the schoolstudents of CNIS.The students collected the amount through conducting food fests, sale ofXmas greeting cards, gift packets, onam kits sale, xmas cake sale, raffleetc.. A VERY BIG THANKS and CONGRATS to the teachers of CNIS, CNItesand Parents for their dedication, cooperation and hard work
Teacher’s DayCNIS celebrated Teacher’s day by conducting a special assembly and Rev Fr. Josey felicitated all the teachers ofCNIS and the students did Guru Pooja on the same function..
Heartfelt CondolencesThe beloved father of Ms.Deepa Raj kumar passed away on 16th November 2010. Rev Fr Manager, Fr Principal, RevFathers from Christ Hall Monastery and Mr Thomas Mani visited Ms Deepa’s family and expressed their condolences.
Christmas at CNIS
As always Christmas was celebratedwith a touch of spark and spirit, thisyear’s theme for Xmas was “AliceIn Wonderland and her experiencesin the modern era’. The celebrationsbegan with a small prayer by CNIteAnand of grade VII.The chief guests for our function wereMr and Mrs Katper from Germany.Rev. Fr. Mathews Chakkalakkalinaugurated the function by theceremonious blessing of thecake.CNItes danced to different tunes,enacted plays and the event came toa close with the nativity scene. Thisyear we also organized a Christmasraffle through which we had raised anamount of Rs 40,000 by selling about4000 tickets
