REFLECTIONS – Epiphany of the Lord - The Magi found the new born king in a most unlikely place, in the most unlikely circumstances, yet they had no doubt that they had found what they were searching for. We are also called to a journey to seek God and discover his will for us. Where have you encountered God’s presence? Think of the moments when you felt God’s hand in your life. Consider how you seek to be open to God’s direction. What can you do to become more attune to God’s direction in your life?

“Arise, shine for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.” - Isaiah 60:1

Acme Mausoleum Company has recently completed construction on our new mausoleums here at Nativi-ty. With the increasing cost of construction, prices have gone up on the new mausoleum crypts. Nativi-ty of Our Lady has for sale some crypts in our previ-ously-constructed mausoleums. I wanted to give pa-rishioners an opportunity to buy crypts in our older mausoleum at reduced prices. Nativity of Our Lady currently has 6 double crypts on the top row for $8,190 each. The price for a double crypt on the top row in the new mausoleum is $9,850 each. If any-one is interested in considering the purchase of these Nativity-owned crypts at the cheaper prices, please call our church office and we can show you where they are located. God Bless, Fr. Mario

Upcoming Cenacle Retreat February 16-18, 2018

Sharpening Our Vision in Lent When Jesus asked the blind man what he could do for him, the man replied, “Lord, I want to see!” The Season of Lent is one of the most grace-filled times for improving our spiritual vision. This retreat will consider traditionally Lenten themes of temptation, weakness, sin and suffering, but will focus on gain-ing a sharper focus in daily living.

Presenter: Rev. Joe Palermo Call Connie Armentor at 337-365-6945 for infor-mation about this retreat or information about any other Cenacle retreat.

Diocesan Marriage Anniversary Mass Sunday, February 25, 2018, 2:00 PM

Our Lady of Fatima Church, Lafayette The Diocesan Marriage Anniversary Masses are sponsored annually by the Office of Marriage and Family Life Ministry, on behalf of Bishop Douglas Deshotel. This annual celebration is hosted by var-ious church parishes throughout the diocese, during the month of February. One Mass is designated for the recognition of couples who are celebrating 25, 40, 50, 60, or more years of married life. Pre-registration is required by all couples who wish to be recognized during the Marriage Anniversary Mass. Due to the large volume of participation each year, only couples who are celebrating one of the designated anniversary years may register to be rec-ognized, and the anniversary must fall within that calendar year. No registrations are accepted at the door on the day of the Anniversary Celebration Mass. Bishop Deshotel will present all registered couples with a certificate in honor of their marriage anni-versary, and a special reception will be held imme-diately following each Mass. Friends and family members are welcome to attend the Mass and re-ception; however, reserved seating is only available for the couples being honored, while others are asked to be seated behind this reserved section.

The deadline to register is February 15, 2018 please visit the website at www.diolaf.org/marriage or call the diocese office at 337-261-5653.

Because our church bulletin is printed out of state, all Mass intentions and announcements should be submitted to the office at least two weeks prior to the requested bulletin date, earlier if it is a holiday sea-son because we have earlier deadlines. Thank you.
