REFLECTIONS – Fourth Sunday of Advent - The Scriptures often speak of signs from God and it is easy to think such things are just tales from a bygone era. But God continues to send us signs everyday. The problem is that we have forgotten how to spot them. We are so busy with our own thoughts and plans we don’t even think about God’s plans. From the golden rays of the morning sun promising a new day to the gentle colors of the sunset blessing the day and calling us to rest, there are signs for those who see. Look for the signs and pray for the grace to see and understand them.

“The Lord’s are the earth and its fullness; the world and all who dwell in it.” - Psalm 24:1 Reprinted with permission from S.T. Productions.

Nativity Mausoleum Update Our sales campaign is underway for the construction of new mausoleum crypts at Nativity of Our Lady. The new mausoleum is probably 1 year away from completion, therefore, the small number of unsold crypts that we have in current inventory will be re-served for temporary placement for caskets of fami-lies who have bought in the new mausoleum and are awaiting completion of the new facilities. We want-ed to make this information known so that you can plan accordingly for your family’s burial needs. If you would like to speak to a salesman from the Ac-me Mausoleum company, please call the church of-fice for their contact information.

Donations for Christmas flowers and decorations can now be made by call-ing the office. 364-8360 Deadline: December 19th

Come Home for Christmas As Advent approaches, we celebrate the coming of Jesus. During this particular season of the Litur-gical Year, we are reminded of our family and friends who have drifted away from the church. Once again, the Diocese of Lafayette will be sponsoring their annual “Come Home for Christmas Campaign.” We want our brothers and sisters to re-turn home to be with their spiritual family. Every active Catholic is encouraged to invite someone to accompany them to Mass on Christmas Day. Offer to pick them up and bring them with you. Please pray for the success of this outreach. We also encourage you to participate in your parish program by submitting to the Church Office the name of a special friend or family member that you would like to invite to Come Home for Christ-mas. Please submit the names and address by De-cember 19th. Forms are provided at all the entrances of the church and may be placed in the collection basket when completed. Christmas Masses
