universities in the European Union’s Marie Curie Initial Training Network Diasporic
Constructions of Home and Belonging - CoHaB project, the University of Mumbai hosted
the second Summer School from (17-21 January 2014). At this summer school, resource
persons sourced from all over India and a few from Europe like Avtar Brah (Birbeck
University of London), Klaus Stierstorfer (University of Münster), Janet Wilson (University
of Northampton) provided stimulating lectures to interact on topics concerning the study of
diaspora , including the areas of literature, cinema, sociology and economics. This inter-
