St. Moritz – Tirano (Italy) – Lugano.On this section, you will enjoy part of the Bernina Express line, bridging gaps between languages and cultures. The turquois Lago Bianco sits at 2,253 m a.s.l. The train winds its way along the UNESCO World Heritage route of Rhaetian Railways, over the Bernina Pass and finally through the idyllic Val Poschiavo to Tirano in Italy. The Bernina Express Bus continues the journey through the Veltlin Valley along Lake Como to Lugano. In winter, the journey alternatively combines with the Palm Express from St. Moritz over the serpentine road of the Maloja Pass down to Lugano.
