As a native of Peru, owner and designer Paola Delgado founded Mujus with the mission to create beautiful earth friendly designs all while giving back to her home country.

Mujus' first studio started with only two artisans: Sonia and Maritza. Paola trains each Mujus artisan personally, spending half of each year in Peru teaching them new techniques and discovering new materials.

This Spring, Mujus moved into a new larger studio in the town of Musa, located in the outskirts of Lima. Currently we work with five wonderful artisans: Sonia, Maritza, Ruller, Nellita, and Lili. We pride in paying fair trade wages to our artisans, providing them with health care, and giving them opportunities to further their education.
