Some trains run to a changed timetable and depart from different platforms. Customers may need to change trains at Central to complete their journey. Other lines are also affected by this work.

City. Campbelltown and Leppington trains will not stop at Ashfield. Most T1 Northern Line trains

between Epping and the City make an extra stop at Ashfield. Penrith trains make an extra stop at Homebush. On Saturday from 02:00 until 07:00, Campbelltown trains start and end at Central, platforms 1-15.

This weekend a combination of capital works programs, major periodic and routine maintenance will take place. Some of the work scheduled is as follows:

- Station Upgrade works at Blacktown, Wentworthville and Pendle Hill - PSU 20177 TT works at various locations (including Richmond branch) - 2017TT Enabling station upgrade works at Lidcombe - Station Upgrade stage works Homebush - Turnout Refurbishment of 602 points Homebush - Retaining wall stage works at Flemington - Hornsby Junction Remodelling stage works - Track Reconstruction on Road 15 - Track slab Reconstruction prep works at HBY Roads 4 – 7 - Plain Track and Turnout Resurfacing - Overhead wiring, signal and track inspections and other preventative maintenance - Corridor Presentation: vegetation maintenance and graffiti removal at various locations
