Easter Holiday ideas

We are not setting formal daily learning tasks to be completed during the Easter break but please see below some fun ideas to keep your child/children entertained during the Easter break.

Spring/Easter art and craft ideas

Most of these ideas can be turned into Easter cards to send to relatives you aren’t able to visit. If your child would like to do some writing, they could write their own instructions for making their different art creations.

You could go out on a nature hunt to collect petals, twigs and leaves to complete this piece of art work.

Easter/Spring stories

On our class webpage I have added a Spring themed story, a powerpoint all about Easter and a youtube link to a version of the Easter story. Please share these with your children and encourage them to read the story with you. Remember to keep up your child’s daily reading.

Spring English and Maths packs

There is no pressure to complete these but you will also find links to English and Maths Spring themed activity books on our class webpage. You could also practice reading and spelling the Year 2 Common Exception Words. These are words children need to know how to read and spell by the end of the year.
