There are two major political parties in Amer-ica. I’m a member of the naïve, stupid, and cow-ardly one. I’m a Republican. How stupid is the GOP? They still don’t get it. I told them 5 years ago, 2 books ago, a national bestseller ago (“The Ultimate Obama Survival Guide”), and in hun-dreds of articles and commentaries, that Obam-acare was never meant to help America, or heal the sick, or lower healthcare costs, or lower the debt, or expand the economy.

The GOP needs to stop calling Obamacare a “trainwreck.” That means it’s a mistake, or acci-dent. That means it’s a gigantic flop, or failure. It’s NOT. This is a brilliant, cynical, and purposeful attempt to damage the U.S. economy, kill jobs, and bring down capitalism. It’s not a failure, it’s Obama’s grand success. It’s not a “trainwreck,” Obamacare is a suicide attack. He wants to hurt us, to bring us to our knees, to capitulate- so we agree under duress to accept big government.

Obama’s hero and mentor was Saul Alinsky- a radical Marxist intent on destroying capitalism. Alinksky’s stated advice was to call the other guy “a terrorist” to hide your own intensions. To scream that the other guy is “ruining America,” while you are the one actually plotting the de-struction of America. To claim again and again…in every sentence of every speech…that you are

“saving the middle class,” while you are busy wiping out the middle class.

The GOP is so stupid they can’t see it. There are no mistakes here. This is a planned purposeful attack. The tell-tale sign isn’t the disastrous start to Obamacare. Or the devastating effect the new taxes are having on the econ-omy. Or the death of full-time jobs. Or the overwhelming debt. Or the dramat-ic increases in health insurance rates. Or the 70% of doctors now thinking of retiring- bringing on a healthcare crisis of unimaginable proportions. Forget all that.

The real sign that this is a purpose-ful attack upon capitalism is how many Obama administration members and Democratic Congressmen are openly calling Tea Party Republicans and any-one who wants to stop Obamacare “ter-rorists.” There’s the clue. Even the clue-less GOP should be able to see that. They are calling the reasonable peo-ple…the patriots…the people who be-lieve in the Constitution…the people who believe exactly what the Found-ing Fathers believed…the people who want to take power away from corrupt politicians who have put America $17 trillion in debt…terrorists?

That’s because they are Saul Alin-sky-ing the GOP. The people trying to purposely hurt America, capitalism and the middle class…are calling the patriots by a terrible name to fool, con-fuse and distract the public.

Obamacare is a raving, rollicking, fantastic success. Stop calling it a fail-ure. Here is what it was created to do. It is succeeding on all counts.

#1) Obamacare was intended to bring about the Marxist dream — redistribution of wealth.

Rich people, small business owners, and the middle class are being robbed, so that the money can be redistributed to poor people (who vote Democrat). Think about it. If you’re rich or middle class, you now have to pay for your own healthcare costs (at much higher rates) AND 40 million other people’s costs too (through massive tax increases). So you’re stuck paying for both bills. You are left broke. Brilliant.

OBAMACARECont’d. from Page 3

#2) Obam- acare was intended to wipe out the middle class and make them dependent on government.

Think about it. Even Obama’s IRS predicts that health insurance for a typical American family by 2016 will be $20,000 per year. But how would middle class Americans pay that bill and have anything left for food or hous-ing or living? People that make $40K, or $50K, or $60K can’t possibly hope to spend $20K on health insurance with-out becoming homeless. Bingo. That’s how you make middle class people dependent on government. That’s how you make everyone addicted to govern-ment checks. Brilliant.

#3) As a bonus, Obamacare is intended to kill every decent paying job in the economy, cre-ating only crummy, crappy part-time jobs.

Why? Just to make sure the middle class is trapped, with no way out. Just to make sure no one has the $20,000 per year to pay for health insurance, thereby guaranteeing they become wards of the state. Brilliant.#4) Obamacare is intended to bankrupt small business, and therefore starve donations to the GOP.

Think about it. Do you know a small business owner? I know hundreds of them. Their rates are being doubled, tripled and quadrupled by Obamacare. Guess who writes 75% of the checks to Republican candidates and conserva-tive causes? Small business. Even if a small business owner manages to sur-vive, he or she certainly can’t write a big check to the GOP anymore. Mon-ey is the “mother’s milk” of politics. Without donations, a political party ceases to exist. Bingo. That’s the point of Obamacare. Obama is bankrupting his political opposition and drying up donations to the GOP. Brilliant.

#5) Obamacare is intended to make the IRS all-powerful.

It adds thousands of new IRS agents. It puts the IRS in charge of oversee-ing 15% of the U.S. economy. The IRS has the right because of Obamacare to snoop into every aspect of your life, to go into your bank accounts, to fine you,

Page 5: Military Press, Zone 2, Nov. 15, 2013

to frighten you, to intimidate you. And Obama and his socialist cabal have ac-cess to your deepest medical secrets. By law your doctor has to ask your sexual history. That information is now in the hands of Obama and the IRS to black-mail GOP candidates into either not running, or supporting bigger govern-ment, or leaking the info and ruining your campaign. Or have you forgotten the IRS harassed, intimidated and per-secuted critics of Obama and conserva-tive groups? Now Obama hands the IRS even more power. Big Brother rules our lives. Brilliant.

#6) Obamacare is intended to unionize 15 million healthcare workers.

That produces $15 billion in new union dues. That money goes to fund Democratic candidates and socialist causes- thereby guaranteeing Obama’s friends never lose another election, and Obama’s policies keep ruining cap-italism and bankrupting business own-

ers long after he’s out of office.

Message to the GOP:This isn’t a game. This isn’t tiddly-

winks. This is a serious, purposeful at-tempt to highjack America and destroy capitalism. This isn’t a trainwreck. It’s purposeful suicide. It’s not failing, it’s working exactly according to plan. Obama knows what he’s doing. Stop apologizing and start fighting.

Oh and one more thing…Conserva-tives aren’t “terrorists.” We are patriots and saviors. We represent the Constitu-tion and the Founding Fathers. We are the heroes and good guys. Unless you get all this through your thick skulls, America is lost…forever.

The scary thing about this message is that the writer could be completely right. As of now we have approximate-ly 49% of the population on some sort of government subsistence. So if they were to get single payer installed it would be 100 percent of the population on government assistance.

By Mark Baird, HirePatriots.comWe have 700,000 unemployed 9/11

veterans today. Next year we are push-ing out 1.3 million active duty U.S. mili-tary personnel. We could see 2,000,000 unemployed 9/11 U.S. veterans in 2014! There are just as many non-9/11 veter-ans that are unemployed.

There are twice as many U.S. veterans who are underem-ployed and cannot pay all of their bills each month. They are sinking deeper into poverty and debt each day!

The U.S. government tax credits for companies that hire U.S. veterans is expiring at end of this year. U.S. cor-porations have been hiring all of the veterans that they can. They are to be lauded! But the fact is, there are not nearly enough U.S. jobs to employ our veterans. Many highly qualified vet-eran job seekers will not find jobs no matter how hard they try.

There is a simple solution: U.S. citi-zens. If all of the people who pasted stickers on their car bumpers that said “We Support Our Troops!” would post a One Day job on HirePatriots.com for free just once a month, we can give ev-ery willing and able U.S. veteran a job everyday!

In San Diego, HirePatriots is visited 10,000 times a week! We find employ-ment for so many local veterans that the county businesses gave us their Vi-sionary Award for stimulating the econ-omy. They said that so many Marines, Sailors and vets get jobs off our site ev-eryday and then spend the money they earn in the local towns and cities that HirePatriots keeps businesses in busi-ness and their employees employed.

The people who post most of our

Hire a vet for your one-day job

One Day jobs are homeowners, senior citizens, chambers of commerce and small businesses. The one day jobs are typically manual or household labor: Paint a room, fix a fence, yard work, ranch work, cleaning and moving. Our local chamber likes to hire several vet-

erans to set up and take down their business expos and sun-downers that they host.

But what really makes HirePatriots so popular

are the veterans that take these jobs. They are all U.S. military trained. They have learned how to work hard for long stretches. And they have also learned military courtesy. Almost always they work harder and are much more polite than civilians. Imagine if every region in the U.S. had its own HirePatriots.com website and that veterans all over America were able to sustain them-selves through it while they recuperat-ed, sought work, went to school, started a business, or were able to augment the income they already make and pay all of their bills. It can happen. It just takes you. Contact me today if you want to make a difference. Mark Baird, [email protected], 760-730-3734.

PROHIBITION ERATIMELINE

The Prohibition Era in the United States has a storied past beginning with various temperance movements in the 1830s and finally culminating with the passage of the 18th amendment. However, the success was short-lived and the 18th amendment was repealed thirteen years later with the passage of the 21st amendment. “The reign of tears is over. The slums will soon be a memory. We will turn our

prisons into factories and our jails into storehouses and corncribs. Men will walk

upright now, women will smile and children will laugh. Hell will be forever for rent.” Reverend Billy Sunday delivered this quotation

during a speech at the beginning of prohibition. Many people believed and hoped that prohibition would

make the above true. However, as they watched and waited, they realized that nothing was im-proved, and somehow, things had gotten worse.

These statistics below detail how much worse crime got:

Police funding: increased $11.4 MillionArrests for Prohibition Las Violations: increased

102+%Arrests for Drunkenness and Disorderly Con-

duct: increased 41%Arrests of Drunken Drivers: increased 81%Thefts and Burglaries: increased 9%Homicides, Assault, and Battery: increased 13%Number of Federal Convicts: increased 561%

Federal Prison Population: increased 366%Total Federal Expenditures on Penal Institutions:

increased 1,000%

“Not only did the number of serious crimes increase, but crime became organized. Criminal groups organize around the steady source of income provided by laws against victimless crimes such as consuming alcohol or drugs, gambling and pros-titution. In the process of providing goods and services those criminal organizations resort to real crimes in defense of sales territories, brand names, and labor contracts. That is true of extensive crime syndicates (the Mafia) as well as street gangs, a criminal element that first surfaced during prohibition.”

“The contributing factor to the sudden increase of felonies was the organization of crime, especially in large cities. Be-cause liquor was no longer legally available, the public turned to gangsters who readily took on the bootlegging industry and

supplied them with liquor. On account of the industry being so profitable, more gangsters became involved in the mon-ey-making business. Crime became so organized because

“criminal groups organize around the steady source of in-come provided by laws against victimless crimes such as consuming alcohol. As a result of the money involved in

the bootlegging industry, there was much rival between gangs. The profit motive caused over four hundred gang related mur-ders a year in Chicago alone.”

Bootleg alcohol is what fueled the work of Organized crime. Most of the men involved in the Mafia or gangs were young immigrants. The business of bootleg alcohol was highly profitable for everyone in- volved which often fueled the Mafia or gang wars. By the late 1920’s more than 1 mil-lion gallons of bootleg liquor had been ille-gally brought into the United States. Most of the alcohol came in ei-ther through Canada or from ships that were lo-cated just beyond U.S. waters.

However, there was alcohol being produced legally in the United States that was also being bootlegged. Most of the alcohol being produced for use in manufacture often ended up being bootlegged. We will look more at bootleg alcohol, speakeasies and other forms of illegal alcohol as we look at life for the av-erage Ameri-can.

I have recently moved from Califor-nia to Hawaii and I’m happy to finally have completed setting up my new resi-dence. Moving is one of my least favor-ite activities, because the once neatly packed drawers and closets become piles of old clothes, papers and various items that I haven’t seen in years. In fact, while unpacking I found clothes hadn’t been able to fit since my son was born (that was 22 years ago)! I have to ask myself, why in the world am I hold-ing on to all of this stuff? Has this hap-pened to you? Some of those old things we keep packed away and lug from one residence to another may not be the only old things that should be disposed of. Thoughts we have in our mind can sometimes clutter our thoughts with

Cleaning out your closets...

Pregnancy fat is not ‘real’ fat right? Some people

think losing “preg-nancy fat” is not like losing “real fat.” Let me tell you folks, as hard as it is to hear – fat is fat. It’s tough to lose, which is why many mothers strug-gle with their muffin top after birth. While having a muffin top may only be one of many things on the list of issues post-baby, it definitely is at the top. It requires a level of discipline, patience, persistence and faith to unveil the strong midsection that can exist if you are willing to work hard (really hard) for it.

RecommendationsWhile pregnant, as well as when you

are breastfeeding, you should only be adding about 500 calories a day to your diet. “Eating for 2” is this free-flowing myth that allows the average woman to rack up about an average of 1,000 addi-tional calories way easier than it should be. Start with dropping your calories slowly; 1200 calories seems like the magic number for most women to aim for. This is why, while I am PRO food tracking I am NOT a fan of many of the popular fitness apps available. It will tell you how many calories you should eat for your goal weight. It doesn’t con-sider how heavy you currently are now,

your current level of activity, or your current struggles.

I never just EAT 1200 CALO-RIES. Especially when active and starting a new

program (fitness or food based). Start by dropping 250 calories off where you currently are now. (Fact: Did you know cutting just 100 calories a day will drop 10 lbs a year?) For every plateau you hit, drop another 200-250 calories from your intake. (Average woman post-pregnancy is eating 2,300 calories).

You should NOT ever starve yourself. Make healthy. alert choices that align with your goals. Starving yourself is why many people binge eat and are often not successful on their low-calorie in-takes. Eventually your metabolism will break down. Progressions in your calor-ic deficit should be slow, just like run-ning a marathon. You can’t go and run a marathon if you’re not used to it. Start jogging two miles, then five miles… you get the point. Training and eating right have similar logic. Make small progres-sions, change it up, keep your body guessing and evolving, and listen to it.

Next is fitness. I know we would all like to run a mile, eat a carrot and see a 15 pound change on the scale, but that will never happen. Deep core training is needed. This includes cardio as well as

weight training. From lifting to plank-ing, side planks, supermans, crunches, leg lifts. Develop and strengthen your core. Your deepest core muscles, your transverse abdominals are your main fo-cus on get rid of that belly fat.

Document everything. While you may not be at a point where you are en-joying taking full body shots of yourself or stepping on the scale, PLEASE DO IT! Store the evidence away and come back to it later. I promise you will appre-ciate it in the long run. You have to mea-sure yourself. Progress is made where progress is measured! Do understand that muscle gain does impede pounds

loss, but the majority of unhealthy fat loss must happen prior to muscle gain. So also take measurements and body fat percentage.

Plan, set and create short term goals

Aiming to lose 25 to 75 pounds is far too lofty. Break it down to an average of 8 pounds a month. Whether your child is a newborn or new to middle school, it took longer than a month to gain that weight, it will take longer than a month to lose it. This requires about 2 pounds a week. This allows you to stay on point with your exercise and food intake each day. You will understand and appreciate the value in each of your actions. Short term goals lead to big time successes.

Lastly, be faithful to yourself and do not give up! Don’t beat yourself up when you have an unplanned cheat meal. Don’t give up when you eat poorly on a weekend or over eat on a vacation. Don’t give up when you get injuries or blow off the day when you slept poorly. When your husband pisses you off, work kicks your butt, or your children soak up every last ounce of energy you think you possess, please don’t give up. Don’t turn to a pint of ice cream or bag of chips for solace. Don’t lay in bed all day from acute depression. Beat it, prove others wrong, beat out the hateful thoughts in your mind, be consistent, and stay on plan. Stay disciplined and in tune with your body and mind to follow through even during the toughest of times.

things they have happened in our past. Are you still upset about something

that happened to you when you were a child, were you rejected or disappointed by someone you loved or trusted, do you feel that you didn’t get something you rightfully deserved? If you still have an emotional attachment to those things, then you’ve got too much junk in your closet. Time spent dwelling on the past puts your focus in the wrong direction.

Life is too short; don’t waste it with toxic emotions like anger, resentment or dis-appointment. Forgive what you can and seek counseling if necessary, but by all means clear your mind and soul of all the unnecessary baggage and you will see how much higher you will soar.

Sergeant from hellA drill sergeant had just chewed out

one of his cadets, and as he was walking away, he turned to the cadet and said, “I guess when I die you’ll come and pee on my grave.” The cadet replied, “Not me, Sarge…no sir! I promised myself that when I got out of the Army I’d nev-er stand in another line!”

about the side-effects of alcohol. She gets two short glasses, filling

one with water and the other with whiskey.

She says “I want you to see this.” She puts a worm in the water, and it

the worm dies immediately.

She then says, feeling that she has made her point clear, “What do you have to say about this experiment?”

The child responds by saying: “If I drink whiskey, I won’t get worms!”

Accident in the airA plane was taking off from Ken-

nedy Airport. After it reached a comfort-

able cruising altitude, the cap-tain made an announcement over the intercom. “Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. Welcome to Flight number 293, non-stop from New York to Los Angeles. The weath-er head is good and, therefore, we should have a smooth and

uneventful flight. Now sit back and re-lax... OH, MY GOD!”

Silence followed, and after a few minutes, the captain came back on the intercom and said, “Ladies and Gentle-men, I am so sorry if I scared you earli-er. While I was talking to you, the flight attendant accidentally spilled a cup of hot coffee in my lap. You should see the front of my pants!”

A passenger in Business class yelled, “That’s nothing. You should see the back of mine!”

Return to senderA soldier serving overseas far from

home was annoyed and upset when his girl wrote to break off their engage-ment and ask for her photograph back.

He went out and collected from his friends all the unwanted photographs

of women that he could find, bundled them all together, and sent them back with a note saying, “I regret that I can-not remember which one you are.

Please keep your photo and return the others.”

Not your average blondeA stranger was seated next to a

blonde on an airplane when the strange turned to her and said, “Let’s talk. I’ve heard that flights go quicker if you strike up a conversation with your fel-low passenger.

The blonde, who had just opened her book, closed it slowly and said to the stranger, “What would you like to talk about?”

“Oh, I don’t know,” said the stranger, “How about nuclear power?” and he smiles.

“Ok,” she said. “That could be an interesting topic. But let me ask you a question first. A horse, a cow and a deer all eat the same stuff — grass. Yet a deer excretes little pellets, while a cow turns out a flat patty, and a horse produces clumps of dried grass. Why do you suppose that is?”

The stranger, visibly surprised by the blonde’s intelligence, thinks about it and says, “Hmmm, I have no idea…”

To which the blonde replies, “Do you really feel qualified to discuss nuclear power when you don’t know crap?”
