First stand the medi Butler on a firm surface with the broader side of the base facing you and the opening in the semicircular frame facing forwards.

1. Lay the compression stocking in the stirrup with the toe of the stocking facing forwards. Turn the upper boarder of the stocking over the frame.

2 . Slide the stocking down over the stirrup until the heel appears over the edge of the frame.

3. Now place the medi Butler on the floor. Slip your foot, toes first, into the tip of the stocking. It is recommended that you lean against something firm (e.g. table, wall) for stabilisation.

4. Now step into the rigid stand. Please check that the toe and the heel are correctly positioned.

5. By pulling on the handles you can now slide the stocking up towards your knee.

6. When the stocking is just below the knee, tilt the medi butler slightly backwards and remove it from the stocking.

7. To finish, smooth the compression stocking upwards evenly. Please make sure you ease the stocking up bit by bit without gathering it up or overstretching the top.

medi Arm Butler

Donning aids for medical compression armsleeves to simplify daily application. Using this method you can put on your armsleeve without the need for further assistance.

1. We recommend medi rubber gloves to aid donning of compression armsleeves.

2 . Position the Butler so that its semicircular opening is facing away from your body. Insert the armsleeve.

3. Now gather up the upper border of the armsleeve over the inner frame of the Butler. Then push the armsleeve down evenly over the frame using both hands.

4. Now slide your hand into the opening. Hold the armsleeve carefully on the Butler with your other hand as you do so.

5. - 6. Place the Butler on the edge of the table and push your arm into it slowly.

7. Finally check once more that the armsleeve is sitting correctly.
