Commemorative ribbon
89.701 September 5th, 1907
The ribbon is orange, and the cold colored metal at the top has a fastener. There is a photo of the Orange Blossom monument at the bottom on a button. The text reads “Hon. T.W. Bradley, M.C. donor. In memory of the service deed ‘Orange Blossoms’ of the 124th Regiment, New York Volunteers.”

89.602 1861-1865 The acronym on this pin stands for the Grand Army of the Republic. It was worn by those who served the Union during the Civil War.

Bronze star with other award ribbons
89.599 1946 Wallace C. Douglass (1907-1972) from Goshen, New York, enlisted in the U.S. Army in February 1942. He became a Staff Sergeant and was awarded the Bronze Star for bravery in action in May 1946.

Large Three-Handled Silver Cup
89.582 Awarded September 13, 1903
This cup was “awarded to Charles J. Everett by the National Bank of Orange County in commemoration of fifty years of service devoted to its service, September 13, 1903.” Mr. Everett gave funds to help build the Goshen Library at 203 Main Street.

89.620 Late 19th to Early 20th Century
This badge is from the International Order of Odd Fellows and was presented to Henry Jonas, a Goshen merchant (1872-1925).

Medal 89.700 1916-1923 This silver medal has a ribbon with green and white stripes. The front reads “Griffin with Comite Americain Pour Les Regions Devastees de la France.” The back shows an eagle holding a shield which reads “Do right and fear no man.”

89.604 1933 This gavel was presented to the Twentieth Century Club by May Tuthill in 1933. The Twentieth Century club was composed of women, active in community affairs in Goshen.
