Execution of Administrative Contract Adjustment No.2 to P.O. T1300118 with Harris McBurney Company decreases the contract amount by $27,176.98, from $1,513,416.49 to $1,486,239.51. The funding source for this contract is Utility Rates, Utilities 201 OA BABS Bonds, and Utilities 201 OB RZEDB Bonds. The decreased amount of $27,176.98 is 1.8 percent of the original contract approval of $1 ,496,211.00. No additional calendar days are requested at this time.

COMPREHENSIVE PLAN/POLICY DETERMINATION:

The services requested are consistent with Comprehensive Plan Goal 9.1, and Manatee County Purchasing Ordinance.

BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION:

• April 23, 2013, the BCC executed a contract with Harris McBurney Company in the amount of $1,496,211.00 for construction of approximately 3,000 Linear Feet (LF) of 10", 2,300 LF of 12", 1,000 LF of 14", and 1,100 LF of 16" force main in the Whitfield Subdivision.

• Administrative Contract Adjustment No. 1, approved by the BCC August 8, 2013, replaced all plug valves with gate valves per Utilities Department request and revised a proposed above ground air-release-valve (ARV) be constructed as a below-ground ARV as it was located in the middle of a resident's circular driveway.
