    To contribute in reduction of Global

    Warming.

    To reduce dependency on LPG for cooking

    purposes.

    To promote an alternate source of energy

    (Biogas).

    What is Bio Gas?

    Practically produced as landfill gas (LFG)or digester gas by anaerobic breakdown of

    wastes.

    During the process, an air-tight tank transformsbiomass waste into methane producing

    renewable energy that can be used for heating,

    electricity.

    Digesters can also be vertical and horizontal

    displacement types depending on theorientation of digester.

    The horizontal plants are suited for high

    ground water level or rocky areas.

    SCRUBBING UNIT

    Scrubbing unit is a device which is used to

    remove unwanted residues from the methane

    gas.

    This helps in achieving purified methane

    which has got higher Calorific Value.
