License Key

After successful installation of M2Native extension by using the Magento setup, you are now required to

configure the license key in the admin configuration section. You can set it from:

Admin Control Panel >Stores > Configuration > Mobile Apps > General. As shown in screenshot below:

You will find two text boxes asking for Serial Key and Activation Key, which you can find in the email you

received upon the purchase of extension. See screenshot below:

You can configure M2Native extension through configuration section, Admin Control Panel >Stores >

Configuration > Mobile Apps > Payment Methods

Catalog: Catalog configuration provides ability to set listing options for mobile apps. You can set

numbers of product per page in mobile and in tablet/iPad devices. You can also set sorting options using

which app user can sort products list.

Social Media: You can enable Facebook login and profile page option from Mobile Apps > Social Medias

configuration option.

Push Notification: Push notification configuration allows to store Google Cloud Messaging and Apple

Push Notification credentials which uses while sending notifications across app users or defined user

segments.

Store Locator: You can enable/disable store locator in your mobile app. You will require to set Google

map API key to generate accurate map within store locator interface.

Manage App

Mobile App connector support website specific app management. Once you install and configure

extension, you would get Mobile menu option within right side main menu options. As shown with

below screenshot,

App is an entity corresponding to magento store group and holds data for mobile app communication.

In other term, App is a single point of contact for Mobile app to pass data with Magento web store.

Admin can create, edit, delete mobile app specific to magento store group. Further data for mobile App

will be managed around this App entity. App will allow to manage App per store group, hence in case of

multi website or multi store group, have to manage separate App per store group. Main interfaces

would be App Grid and Edit form as below screen shots.

Add New App

In order to create new App, will require to save basic information of the app before managing further

App features. Hence, allow only save and continue button at first step.

App Name: Name of app can use to identify/label app.

App Code: This code will be used by mobile app to identify particular app. Once app code is saved, it will

not be editable.

Store Group: Store group under website which can have multi store views.

Edit App: Once basic app info is saved, it will allow to manage further App content like banners, spot

products, CMS contents, texts etc.

Banners Tab: Banners tab allows to manage banners for edited application. These banner will show over

main screen in mobile app. You can define number of banners, its place (rotating slider or static banner),

and its landing screen link.

Add Banner: Using add new banner button from banners grid, admin can add new banners. Banner form

will look like below screen.

Action can be Category/Categories/Product/CMS/None of these with corresponding widget

chooser. Meaning of each action is as listed below.

o Category: Banner link will redirect on product list screen in mobile app. From magento

admin it is required to select category on which one wants to redirect.

o Categories: Banner link will redirect on category screen in mobile app. On this screen

displays subcategories list/dailydeal/category slider. From magento admin it is required

to select category on which one wants to redirect.

o Product: Banner link will redirect on product detail screen in mobile app. From magento

admin it is required to select product on which one wants to redirect.

o CMS: Banner link will redirect on CMS content screen in mobile app. From admin it is

required to select CMS content created under App interface.

You can keep banner as display purpose only and to do so action should be selected as

none.

Spot Products Tab: Spot products option provides ability to manage products tab over main screen. You

can define label of tab and products to define under that tab.

Tab CMS contents: Using CMS contents tab, you can manage CMS screens (pages) like Privacy Policy,

Shipping & Return policy etc. for your mobile app. You can also manage where to show its link under

app.

Category Icons

Mobile app displays indicative icon for first level category which give quick idea about products falling in

that particular category. You can manage these icons from magento admin panel Products > Categories

management console.

App Users

You can review app users who are using your app. additionally, it also shows information of your use

device like platform, device, location, status etc. Status updates based on push notification

acknowledgement.

Manage User Segment

User segment is a group of users falling under certain criteria like device platform, location etc. You can

create logical group of users and use it to send push notifications.

Go to Mobile > Apps > App Users Segments, it will show existing segments.

To create new segment click on Add User Segment button. It will show form as below screenshot. Here

you can define meaningful name of segment so one can easy identify about it. Application to select

users of and select criteria to further filter users.

Manage Notification

Using manage notifications, you can prepare different kind of push notification like promotional

notification, informational notification etc. Moreover, you can also set link of landing screen with push

notification message as a call to action. You can add notification in queue to schedule it for sending.

Go to Mobile >>Notification>>Manage Notification. Here you will see all notifications templates with

grid layout. You can queue any notification to process and send notifications using action dropdown.

To add new notification, click Add Notification button, it will open new notification form same as below

screen shot. Using action, you can set landing screen for notification message.

Manage Notification Queue

Notification queue are the scheduled push notifications. Notifications queue are processes based on

cron job and in batches to assure delivery of push notifications.

From Notification grid, select “Queue Notification...” option from action column dropdown for

notification you want to schedule for sending. It will redirect on page as below screen shot.

From this page, you can define date on which message should be sent, and user segment to which

message should be sent. You can also quick edit message content. After all settings done as you want,

click on Save Notification. According to time that has been set, notification will be processed. Make sure

magento cron job must be configured properly.

You can find all queued notifications with its status from Mobile >> Notification >> Notification queue. It

will show page same as below screen shot.

Manage Notification Problem Report

Notification problem report shows list of app users to which notification not sent due to any error. You

can re-queue such notifications for second try. You can all such find notification problems from Mobile >

Notification > Notification Problem Report and it will look like below screen shot.

Manage Notification Sent

Notification sent shows list of notifications which delivered successfully. You can delete it or keep as

record for future use.

Manage Store Locations

Using store locations management console, you can manage list of physical stores which will be shown

as store locations interface inside app. Based on address you have added for store will generate pin over

the map to point out exact location.

Got to Mobile > Apps > Store Location, it will look similar to below screen shot.

From this page, you can add new notification using “Add Location” button or can edit an existing store

information. Edit/New store page will look like below screen shot. System will automatically retrieve geo

location based on provided store address information and which will be used to plot store location pin

over Google map in mobile app.
