The SAA’s domestic travel program, SAAMiles, takes care of all travel details — just show up and have an incredible time. SAA Miles is designed to enrich the student experiencewith exciting travel opportunities, while ensuring the highest level of experiential education, enjoyableness and ease in attending.

Dinner with 12 Tar HeelsYour SAA is proud to offer Dinnerwith 12 Tar Heels several times a semester. The premise of Dinnerwith 12 Tar Heels is based on oneidea: to connect the Carolina familyaround the dinner table. Localalumni host a dinner in their homesor at a local restaurant. As thename suggests, the dinner is for a party of 12 Tar Heels. You’ll be invited to upcoming dinners viaemail so keep an eye on your inboxfor all the details.

Who is in charge of the SAA?

The Student Alumni Association Board of Directors (SAA-BOD) plans and implements all SAA events and programs. Learn more at alumni.unc.edu/saa-bod.

What is required of members?

There are no requirements, no meetings. You decide what you want out of your membership. You are free to attend as many or as few events or programs as you wish.

Where do my membership fees go?

All of your dues — every single penny — are used for SAA programming and events.

I am a gold member, will I get a new T-shirt each year?

Yes. There is a new T-shirt and membership card each school year.

My friend wants to be a member. Is it too late?

It is never too late. Your friend can join at any SAA event or by going to alumni.unc.edu/saa and clicking join now.
