BiographyMy name is Alejandra

Ramirez, owner & founder of Love Rush. I am a Sam Houston State University marketing major. I come from a Mexican- American background. I was born and raised in Houston, TX. For me it wasn’t always easy. My passion has always been decorating and doing anything artsy crafty. As a little girl, I always envisioned myself being an interior designer, or fashion designer but going to college everything changed. I decided I wanted to become a marketing major and work in the internet industry. Maybe one day

work for google. As time went by I learned my true passion wasn’t marketing, so I decided to chase my real dreams. I decided a change would be good. My whole life I had always wished for a beautiful wedding just like any other girl did. Having a passion in decorating and helping others has always been something I loved. Being able to see two

people unite while making their wishes come true is the best feeling. What

better career than to become a wedding planner. And that is

how my career came to be.

Special TalentsGrowing up in a Mexican family has given me the opportunity to

learn and experience many Mexican traditions from going to weddings, to quinceneras, and family parties. It gives me the opportunity to better assist hispanic brides. I have learned from wedding dance traditions, to ceremony traditions and many more. I wouldn’t say it’s a talent, but more of a curse. Being a perfectionist helps me make sure every little detail is in place. When something goes wrong, I work till it is 100% instead of 99%. I will assure every bride’s day is fulfilled to the best of my ability.

In a year, I want to be able to own my own company and have learned more about the wedding industry. In five years, I want to have gained many clients and connections as well as with vendors. In ten years, I hope to still be in the industry with my company having grown tremendously. I plan to have other wedding planners working in my company alongside with me.

Our First MeetingThe first meeting with a client

will be held in a conference room. It will be an hour consultation meeting to discuss design expectations and what is expected to be gained with us. The different packages and prices will be discussed to see if they meet their price range and expectations. A bridal form questionnaire will be

filled out to have a better overview of what the bride’s needs are. A contract will also be handed out so they can review it. After, those things are discussed and she decides to move forward with us, we will be more than happy to help her accomplish her goals.

Services OfferedPlatinum Package

This service is for couples who want the perfect wedding, but don’t know where to start or don’t have the time for planning due to jobs and other circumstances. With our assistance, your goals will be met and we will assure you, you will love every minute of your wedding experience. The event is planned from start to finish, assisting with the following:

$5,000.00 First meeting will be to discuss budget and design. Unlimited meetings with couples. Unlimited communication via email, phone, or text. Personal suggested vendor list will be given. A detailed blueprint and timeline will be developed. Will develop a floor plan. Assistance with seating chart. Wedding party checklist. Sending reminders of scheduled meetings with

vendors and venues.

Will go on scheduled vendor meetings. Reviewing contracts from vendors and venues. A fully detailed timeline and schedule of the day of

the event will be developed. Will help with choosing songs. Ceremony rehearsal coordination. Guest coordination and assistance Offers advice for awkward situations or conflict. Will be present day of the event. Will greet guest. Emergency wedding kit will be handy, if needed.

Essential Package

This package is for the couples who don’t need the full service, but are still in need of help. We will assist with the following:

$3,500.00 First meeting will be a one hour consultation to

discuss budget and design. Unlimited communication via email, text, or phone. Personal suggested vendor list will be given. Guidance in areas still left to complete before

wedding day. Contact and confirm all hired vendors are going

smoothly. Timeline and schedule will be developed. Ceremony rehearsal coordination. Guest coordination and assistance. Will assist on wedding day. Emergency wedding day kit will be handy, if

needed.

Day of Coordination

This package is for the couples who have completed all their wedding plans but just need someone to review them. Day of coordination will start three weeks before wedding day, assisting with the following:

$2,000.00 One -hour consultation to discuss last minute

details. Unlimited communication via email, text, or phone Wedding day design guidance. Final calls to vendors. Ceremony rehearsal coordination. Timeline and schedule will be developed. Will assist on wedding day. Emergency wedding kit will be handy, if needed.

Event Terms, Agreements and Conditions

1. Payment Terms: The parties agree to the following payment terms: __________________. The planner accepts the following forms of payment: __________________________. A deposit of ____________ must be made the day the contract is made. Money must be payed 30 days before wedding day.

2. Late Payment Policy: If client fails to make any payments under the agreement, the following policy will apply (1) 30 days before wedding day, if payment is not fully payed planner will cease all planning until payment is made. (2) 15 days before wedding day, if payment is not payed planner will cancel all services.

3. Cancellation Policy: In an event of cancellation all payments made are non-refundable.

4. Event Changes: If client makes changes of location and date planner will make the best effort to accommodate clients request. Clients recognizes that if changes are made it can affect the quality of their event. Planner is not responsible for deficiencies.

5. Fulfillment: Client recognizes that they might enter into separate contracts with other vendors. Planner is an independent contractor, separately from the other vendors which does not make the planner liable for any mishaps that may occur from other vendors.

6. Licenses and permits: Client recognizes that due to their event, licenses and permits may be required. Client agrees to pay all costs, and to lawfully abide by, such licenses and permits during the term and agreement.

General Terms

7. Term: Agreement ends _____________ when planner completes all tasks promised to client(s) or when client(s) terminates the agreement.

8. Waver; Modification: If both parties decide to waive any term, provision or other parties breach of this agreement, such waiver will not be effective unless it is in writing and signed by both parties. This agreement may be amended only in writing by authorized representatives of the parties.

9. Force Majeure: Neither party will be liable for any failure or delay performed under the agreement if the delay or failure is due to uncontrollable circumstances by the non-performing party

10.Governing Law and Venue: If a disagreement occurs during this agreement, any party may bring matter to any court of competent jurisdiction.

11.Notices: Any notice required by this agreement must be in writing and must be delivered in the following: (1) By personal delivery (2) By overnight courier in written verification of receipt (3) By email (4) By certified by registered mail. Notice must be sent to the address provided by party.
