• Pancreatic cancer was the 10th most commonly diagnosed cancer in Louisiana, and 12th in the U.S. 1

• It was the 5th leading cause of cancer death in both Louisiana and the U.S.1

• About 820 new Pancreatic cancer cases are expected to be diagnosed and about 700 persons are expected to die of this cancer in Louisiana in 2017.2
