The 41st Valley of the
Flowers Half-Marathon &
5K successfully con-
cluded on Sunday, Sep-
tember 16th. Thanks to
the many LVDC members
and community volun-
teers the event was suc-
cessfully staged for the
10th year at the La Puri-
sima Mission State His-

Scouts, costumed water/
aid station volunteers, and
young family members of
registered participants
were some of them.
Shirt design, awards, course
markings, Mission coordination,
pre-registration, and Finish Line
equipment required many hours of
LVDC members. Thank you all
for the awesome support!
Lastly, volunteers are needed for
the annual Lizard Breath Fence
