Norm Perry and I have many photos of you coming across the finish line.. He has turned over gigabits of pho-tos for the LVDC website and news-letter. But I’m still trying to figure out how to get them off my Samsung camera. Lastly, LVDC annual elections are in November for anyone interested in be-ing on the Board of Directors. There is a need for a Public Relations, Historian, and Membership Director. Board mem-bers are willing to mentor interested members.

Another successful Half-Marathon & 5K concluded on Sat-urday, 26 Sep 15! The event raised funding for the Nancy Perry College Scholarships that will be awarded next spring to students at both local High Schools. A check for $1,200 was awarded to the California State Park for use of the La Purisima Mission trails and parking area. The crew at the B-B-Que pro-vided 200 chicken dinners that consisted of 137 runners/walkers, their familes, and event volun-teers. Please contact Betty Lee or me about any concerns or ideas that you would like to bring into this event.
