letter of reference dctc

April 27, 2010 To Whom It May Concern: I have been asked by Carol L. Ferris to provide her a letter of reference and am glad to do so on her behalf. Carol was a student here at Dakota County Technical College (DCTC) during the 2008-2009 academic year. She successfully completed certificate programs in Supervisory Leadership and Meeting and Event Management during her tenure as a DCTC student (finishing with a 4.0 GPA I might add). I had the good fortune to work closely with Carol in her role as a DCTC Student Ambassador. In that capacity, Carol assisted myself and the rest of the admissions staff with our Tuesday Campus Visits (for prospective students), recruiting events (on and off campus) and registration/advising sessions for new students. Carol performed admirably as a Student Ambassador. She took the initiative to know as much as she could about DCTC, our programs, and our processes and procedures. In doing so, she was equipped with the tools and information to share with prospective and new students. She demonstrated active listening and strong communication skills when interacting with students and staff. Even though Carol was at DCTC for a relatively short time, she embraced the culture of the college and represented the institution in a positive, professional manner. With Carol you will find someone with a great deal of experience in advertising, sales and customer service. She is an extremely focused professional with drive, ambition and determination. She will work hard for you and will do so with passion and enthusiasm.

To Whom It May Concern:

I have been asked by Carol L.

I have no doubt in my mind she will be successful in whatever she pursues and an asset to whoever is lucky enough to hire her.

Feel free to contact me directly to further discuss Carol’s qualifications and skills.

Sincerely.
