NOTE: Unplug from the wall first and then from the cart.

IMPORTANT! Follow these procedures step by step!

If your electric golf cart has been idle for a longperiod of time without a charge, and then you go to chargeit and nothing happens, it's probably not your charger.Your batteries have deep cycled and need to be pre-charged.

First make sure to turn off A.C. to the charger andunplug the charger from the cart. Take the cover off thecharger. Unhook wire #3 from the breaker, move it away,and tape the end. Unhook wire #4 and plug it in wherewire #3 was (as shown by dotted line below).

Now, plug the charger into the cart. Then plug theA.C. cord into the wall. Charge for 30 minutes to 1 hour.Put everything back like it was. The unit should nowcharge the cart correctly.
