Fr. Czaja was born and raised in Port Arthur, Texas. After high school he joined the Passionists and was ordained a priest in 1964. Preaching Parish Missions has been his primary ministry since 1972. He is currently stationed at Christ the King Passionist Community in Northern California giving Missions throughout the United States.

LENTEN MISSION Lenten Mission at St. Mary is Sunday, March 8, through Wednesday, March 11, 6:30 – 7:30 PM. The theme of the Mission is “Come Encounter Jesus”. The facilitator is Father Blaise Czaja. All are welcome.

LENTEN MISSION CHILDCARE Childcare services are available for the evening sessions of the Lenten Mission, Sunday thru Wednesday, March 8-11, from 6:15 to 7:30 PM, in the Parish Hall. Reservations are required to ensure that we have the proper number of caregivers. We will accept children who are walking up to 12 years old. Please call or text Jan at 337-298-2072 to make a reservation.

The Central Region of the Diocese of Lafayette is sponsoring regional “Opportunities for Confession”. Several priests will be present. DIVINE MERCY SUNDAY The Central Region of the Diocese of Lafayette will host a special celebration of “Divine Mercy Sunday”, Sunday, April 12, at Our Lady of Fatima Church.
