The project ArtWET (« Mitigation of agricultural nonpoint-source pesticide pollution and phytoremediation in artificial wetland ecosystems ») is a European project LIFE ENVIRONMENT (referenced LIFE 06 ENV/F/000133), initiated the 1st of October 2006 for a duration of three years.

Norway is a long country far up north, and we have a lot of scattered settlements.

Agriculture and in particular the diffuse nutrient losses are often identified as the major source of anthropogenic P inputs.
