Our children will march a parade around the designated area. Your child will be photographed individually, please let us know if you do not wish for your child to be photographed.

The viewing area for parents will be reserved behind yellow ribbons. Parents must

remain in the viewing area to ensure that the parade area is clear for children to walk

Reminders

▪ Please make sure that your child is by your side at all times in the parking lot.

▪ Please do not leave your older or younger children in the car without any adult supervision. Bring them inside as you are picking up/dropping off your child.

▪ The parking lot closes promptly at 6:30PM. Please do not allow your child to run or play around in the parking lot. This is important for their safety.

▪ Following Signs: Please be reminded to turn right out of the Silvergate Drive driveway then make a u-turn at the Called Verde Road intersection west of the school instead of making a left turn coming right from the school exit.

▪ You may also exit via the Dublin Green Drive driveway and turn left onto Silvergate Drive.

▪ Please be extra cautious when backing-up in our parking lot to avoid any accidents.

Happy Birthday to all October celebrants!

Your child’s birthday is a very special day and it can

be celebrated with his/her friends in the

classroom. Birthdays are celebrated between

10:00-11:00 AM. Speak with your child’s teacher

prior to the celebration. You may send pictures of

your child when he/she was newborn, one-year-

old, three-year old, or you can prepare a timeline

with pictures, happenings or special moments that

your child experienced each year to be read by the

teacher during circle time. The children would love

to see how they grow over time.

Parents may bring a healthy treat to share with the

other children. Due to allergies, it is necessary that

cakes are egg and nut free. Parents may also

choose to bring fresh-cut fruit instead. If you are

bringing goody bags for the children, please ensure

that they contain only educational items, such as

small books, crayons, erasers, or pencil.

If there is a school event on the day of your child’s

birthday, we would prefer that the birthday be

celebrated in the classroom a day before or a day

after the event.

Thank you for your understanding.

EMERGENCY RESPONSE PLAN Precautionary Action in case of emergency.

• The Emergency Response Plan is a preparatory measure. Although it is unlikely that the Emergency Response

Plan will need to be fully activated in our school, the possibility still exists. We prepare our children by

conducting emergency practice drills in our school. Fire and Earthquake drills are practiced twice (2x) every

month. In addition to practicing the drills, teachers also discuss with the children the appropriate actions to

take during an emergency. These drills and accompanying discussions are designed to prepare your child to

act quickly and to minimize your child’s fear should an emergency occur.

• Two possible sites for the parent-child reunion center:

The first site is located on the school parking lot. The second site is located at the School Emergency

Evacuation Site – this location is activated only when the school premises must be evacuated.

• Emergency Relocation Site: MAPE MEMORIAL PARK - 11711 Mape Way, Dublin, CA 94568

• Directions: Going out from 11900 Silvergate Drive, turn right ahead west on Silvergate Drive toward

Silvertree Lane. Turn left onto Calle Verde Road and turn right onto Mape Way. Mape Memorial Park is in

front of Mape Way. Children will be lined-up in groups (by class) on the grassy area parallel to Mape Way

beside the playground restroom area.

We want you to know that your cooperation in preparing your child for the event of an emergency and

helping us to ensure their safety is greatly appreciated. As always, should you have any questions or

concerns, please feel free to contact the school during regular work hours.
