Animal Tracking 3 Part Cards
Directions:
1. Cut cards apart, cut along the solid lines.
2. Emergent readers may match the word and picture to the intact cards.
3. Independent readers may match just the word to the picture (2 or 4 cards). 4. For independent work, set up on trays or rugs, Montessori style, as shown in
the pictures below.
5. Play like “old maid” and match four cards cut (leave word part intact).
5. Take the pictures outside and try to find real tracks!
