The doctor who were in charge was dr. Irfan. He taught me many things, started from how to examine elderly atients and recogni!e their symtoms. "ut suddenly a nurse came in and brought a ile of medical records. #r. Irfan as$ed us to get ready to meet the atients. There were many atients, but only one atient that were really memorable for me. % grandma in a wheelchair with her son suddenly came in to the room. They greet us with smile. The atient name is Mrs. S, she is &' years old. The doctor then as$ the son what can he hel for them. Mrs. S son told us that her mother had di(culty to hear. It was rogressive hence the exact time for the beginning is hardly identi)ed. "esides, she also exerienced instability due to ain in her $nees. She had not underwent x*ray for both of the $nees. "esides, she also had di(culty to see. +revious doctor told her that she had cataract, but she refused to have surgery because she is afraid. She also wears diaers everytime because she had di(culty to hold her ee. She comlained that she cannot go to engaian again because of her feet. She has been in the wheelchair for - months. Sometimes her son brought her to the engaian, but not regularly because he had to go to wor$.  The doctor then examine her. There is no abnormalities from general hysical examination, only her eyes we can found the cloudiness and creitation in both $nees. The atient then was reered to ohthalmologist and /0T doctor to do further examination.  That was the tyical case for geriatric atient. She is more than -' years old and have multiathology. 1hat we can do is to reserve her functional status. 1e should advise her son to get a caregiver for her hence she can continue her regular activity, although she had limitation in doing it. "esides, it is also imortant to revent her from getting deressed.
