(12) Continue with white yarn (Caron brand). Stitch over the white part of the skirt, starting after the rose mist part. Sl st, ch 1, sc x 50 (this includes the sl st that you used to join the round). Turn, ch 1.

Sew the gingham pattern with rose pink and soft pink yarn. With soft pink yarn, surface sl st along the edge between the gingham part of the skirt and the rose mist part.In the back loops of the rose mist part of the skirt, with white yarn (Caron brand), sl st, ch x 2, 3hdc x 8, fo.



HAIR Mark the halfway line between the front and back of the head. Cut strands of New York White yarn for her hair on the front of the head. Cut little strands and fold in half to make the little curls on the sides of her head and at her side part.

Cut strands of New York White yarn to cover the back of her head.



Glue the hair on in this order: left front side, right front side, trim the hair along the line that you marked, back, trim the hair along the line that you marked.



Measure from the top of her head to her shoulders and double. Cut several strands of yarn of this length. Use white yarn (Caron brand) to tie to the top on each side of the head. Glue a strand of New York White yarn over the top of this tie. Trim hair as desired.

Take a strand of New York White yarn and make loops as pictured belowand glue the loops into place on stiffened felt. Trim yarn. Glue to the front on each side of her head. Glue a dark pink bow made of the 3/8 inch ribbon on each side.



FACE

Cut a pair of eyelashes from the black felt. Glue the eyelashes to the large black buttons. Sew the holes of the buttons in a cross stitch pattern. Glue the eyes to the head.

For her cheeks, cut two circles from the pink felt and glue to the head. (I used the black buttons as a template for the cheeks.)

Sew a mouth and beauty spot next to her right eye using black thread and pull the ends of the thread inside the head.
