Lalaloopsy Doll Scraps Stitched N Sewn Amigurumi Pattern V1.0


This pattern makes a doll about 13 inches (33 cm) tall. It has the same

dimensions as a full size Lalaloopsy doll. The clothes and shoes are not

removable.

Notes before starting

The pattern follows continuous rounds, do not join or turn unless

otherwise stated. Remember to mark the first stitch of each round.



ARMS (make 2, about 3.5 inches, 9 cm long)

7 Cut a sole from stiffened felt and put inside the boot to

keep the bottom flat. With radiant lime yarn, sew together the 4th and 13th

stitches (this stitch will count as a loop to crochet on in this round) and sew up the front of the boot to close it. Stuff boot. The joining sl st will also count as a stitch in

this round too. So there should be 9 stitches in this round.

Do continuous rounds from now on. Continue with radiant lime yarn, L: sc x 9.

SKIRT


Turn the doll upside down, so that the legs are up

and the head is down. Using a 3.25 mm crochet hook and radiant lime yarn (color L), start in the

front loops of round 14 of the body, sl st, ch 1. At the end of rounds 1 -3, sl st in first st of the

round and ch x 4.

I pleated the skirt so that there were 5 pleats. Then

when I crocheted the next round I skipped 2 stitches at the fold on each side of the pleat to hold

the pleat in place.

4 B: In back loops only, ch x 3, 2dc in each stitch

around (skipping 2 stitches at each pleat), sl st in 1st st, fo.

With black yarn, surface sl st a diagonal lie across each pleat.

Glue a white ribbon bow to the middle of her belt.

HAIR

Using black yarn, mark the dividing line between the front and back of

the head to use as a guide, a line down the middle of the back of her head and where you want to put her ponytails. Also mark the shape of

her bangs/fringe.

Cut strands of Oakland black yarn that are double the length from the

midline on the back of her head to the end of the ponytails. Sew these strands down the back of her head, following the line that you marked.



For her bangs/fringe, cut strands of the Oakland black yarn that are

double the length from the top of her head to the middle of her face.

Cut one strand of New York white yarn of that length. Fold the black

yarn in half and sew along the line you marked on the top of her head.

Sew the white yarn on the left side of her bangs/fringe.

On each side of her bangs, glue short strands of Oakland black yarn from the halfway mark you marked on her head to the middle of her

forehead. Make sure that the ends of the yarn will be covered by the

bangs/fringe and the hair on the back of her head. Glue the bangs/fringe to the front of her head. Trim the hair as desired.



Tie the hair into ponytails on each side of her head. Braid the ponytails

and tie at the ends and secure to each side of the head. Trim the ends as desired. Glue a lime ribbon bow to the end of each braid.



FACE

Sew the holes of the buttons in a cross stitch pattern with black crochet

thread. Cut a pair of eyelashes from the black felt. Glue the eyelashes

to the large black buttons. Glue the eyes to the head.

For her cheeks, cut two circles from the dark pink felt and glue to the head. (I used the black buttons as a template for the cheeks.)

Sew a mouth using black thread and pull the ends of the thread inside

the head.

Sew a scar next to her left eye using the delft crochet thread.
