Prayers for Country and Community
Today we will pray for Louisiana. Population: 4.7 million
Out of 64 parishes, approximately 20 parishes were affected by the storm. Approximately 40,000 homes suffered damage.
The Great Flood of 2016
During this event, it is estimated that 6.9 trillion gallons of rain fell in just one week. At least 31 WBC families were flooded. Get
involved! This is a unique opportunity to restore lives and to share the love of Christ through gospel conversations. Pray that the lost will see Christ in
us and that they will have a hunger to know Him more.
We will also pray for Louisiana Baptist churches.
Statewide, there are 60+ Baptist churches that are flooded. This includes the homes of at least 20 Louisiana Baptist Pastors.
