Vancouver is a beautiful city which is rich in nature and surrounded by majestic mountains and the pacific ocean. It has been chosen as the most liveable city in the world for many years, excelling in all aspects.

Vancouver Robson Campus is on Robson Street which is part of the downtown core of Vancouver. The campus is located next to Empire Landmark Hotel and a lot of shops and cultural facilities are near by. This is the best location to enjoy shopping and cultural experience. Also, located a 10-minute walk from Stanley Park, you can see the beautiful coast line and enjoy rollerblading. We are sure that you will spend quality time not only at Robson Campus but also outside of school. The Campus is originally designed for KGIC which makes it ideally suited to international students.

Vancouver is surrounded by the pacific ocean and the majestic mountains and known for the entrance to west coast of Canada. It is said that Vancouver which has nature and urban area is the ideal city for tourists. Vancouver was chosen as the most livable city in the world many times, excelling in various aspects such as hygiene, public safety, hospitality, mild weather and friendly people. You can enjoy hiking and adventure experience in Summer and skiing and snowboarding in Winter. You will enjoy outdoor sports all year around. 2010 Winter Olympics and Paralympics were held in Vancouver.

≪Most Liveable City in the World≫ Vancouver always places high in “The Most Livable City Ranking” which the English Magazine, Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU), publishes every year. It was ranked in the 1st place 5 years in a row from 2007 to 2011.EIU’s livable rating quantifies the challenges that might be presented to an individual’s lifestyle in 140 cities worldwide. Each city is assigned a score for over 30 qualitative and quantitative factors such as publish safety, Health Care, culture, environment, education and infrastructure.

≪A Popular City to Study Abroad≫ Vancouver is one of the most popular cities to study abroad. Vancouver has the most schools in the world. There is great competition between schools which creates the ideal environment for study life abroad. And even bedsides study, Vancouver is known for great adventure. Vancouver has all the facilities to ensure that international students live well and in a friendly city. (The picture on left is a library)

≪Stanley Park≫ On the west side downtown Vancouver, Stanley Park extends into the ocean as a small peninsula. One of the largest city parks in North America, its area is about 400 hectare. Within the park, there is an aquarium. Museum and very large spaces for rest and relaxation. It also has a paved wall (the seawall) around its coastline perimeter for cycling and rollerblading, etc. From the seawall, there is a magnificent view of city buildings, the Lion’s Gate Bridge and the mountainous landscape beyond.。

≪Winter Sports≫ 30 minutes away from downtown by bus, Grouse Mountain, Cypress Mountain, Mount Seymour, you can access 3 different ski hills. Access to skiing is only 10 minutes away from North Vancouver. The Olympic snowboard half-pipe and mogul competitions took place at Cypress Mountain. Take a weekend to go to Whistler just 2 hours away by car, it is one of the world’s largest ski resort.

≪Public Transportation≫ Public transportation is mainly bus and sky train. Besides that, there are also ferries (Sea Bus), West Coast Express train service. Transit Passes work on a zone system. There are 3 zones. Within each zone, you pay one fare to go anywhere in the zone. Transit Passes are only valid for that month and should be replaced a new on the first of every month.
