The service year is soon coming to a close. District Convention is only two months away in March and it will mark the end of this service year and the beginning of the next. It has been great to see the club come together to better the community through service, and the board would like to thank all Key Clubbers who have been dedicated to service. Now that there are only two months left we look forward to continuing our service year.
Yours in Caring Service, Trevor Wood

Lieutenant Governor
Each division of Key Club is represented by their own lieutenant governor. This position is elected yearly, and it is the duty of the lieutenant governor to support the clubs in their division and act as a liaison between these clubs and the District Board. As members of Division 19, our club is represented by Bobbie Boettinger. She was elected for the 2014-2015 service year. On January 23rd, Livingston hosted the elections for 2015-2016. The two candidates running were Mackenzie Warren and Meghan Nevola both from Livingston. After making speeches and answering questions, Meghan was elected for the position.
She will be inducted at this year’s DCON in March. Until then, she will continue to serve as LHS Key Club’s Vice-President.
LHS Vice-President Meghan Nevola was elected for 2015-2016 Division 19 Lieutenant
Governor
MLK Day January 19th was Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Our Key Club had two events
this day. The first was at the high school, and Key Clubbers helped to run Livingston’s annual MLK Day activities. Various organizations were at the event to commemorate Dr. King and his legacy and to come together through service and helping the community.
The second event was a march at the Oval to honor the historical 1963 March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom.

Board Elections Before the end of any service year, elections are held to choose the executive
board. Any general member is free to run for any position. Any member of the board should have a love for Key Club and service, and they must be able to uphold their duties and responsibilities. These elections will be held in March and anyone interested should listen for more information
District Convention District Convention is only two months away! DCON is a gathering of all NJ
Key Clubs in Long Branch, New Jersey. Here members can learn all about Key Club over the course of a weekend. This year’s theme is Harry Potter. More information will be made available shortly, or can be found with your board members
