BACKGROUND & JUSTIFICATION:

Due to lack of awareness and trainings about unionism, workers seemed always at the defensive side. Like at present, most of the members of the FFW trade unions are experiencing the negative effects of structural adjustment programs instituted by most the companies / management and other re-structuring and re-engineering programs in the operation of their companies but union failed to counter because of lack of unity an cooperation among their members.

The main reasons of these issues rise on the lack of education to workers with regards to their rights as workers. That is why, this course/seminar is designed to proactively respond to these needs. It is hoped that this course, it will contribute in building responsible and strong participation of members.
