Created/maintained all technical illustrations for R11, SS12 and PF11.
Worked with Olivier Theyskens to gain comprehensive knowledge of
draping and fitting on live models. Researched/proposed different
menswear ideas to incorporate into the line. Implemented interactive
fit comment sheets using Excel that connected production and
design, adding great efficiency to sample development.
Assisted 3rd-generation, Italian master tailor, Mike Trotta, with every
aspect of creating a bespoke garment, from the measuring and fitting,
to the manufacture of the garment using hand-tailoring skills. Diagnosed
fit issues and personally completed complex and highly precise
alterations on bridge and designer RTW suit jackets, trousers and shirts,
under close guidance.
Sold designer/ contemporary merchandise through a full year’s retail
business cycle. Styled male and female clients. Provided sales
feedback to vendors based upon customer reactions to collections.
Worked with design team to create line sheets, tech packs and
mood boards for FW11 and SS12. Catalouged fabric samples and
reviewed lab dips for accuracy with design director. Attended fit
sessions and took detailed notes regarding changes to specs.
Collaborated with company President to design a ten-look
collection, which received excellent reviews from American and
Chinese press. Managed a small team to execute an original
customer phone follow-up process, leading to increased sales.
Designed men’s woven shirts for FW10, three of which were put
into production.
