Hanoi Trade Corporation (Hapro) is a corporationoperating in3 main

HAPRO BRANCH IN DONG THAP PROVINCE

Hapro Branch in Dong Thap province which was established in 2013 is a

subsidiary of Hanoi Trade Corporation (Hapro). It is located in Lai Vung, Dong

Thap (the granary in Mekong Delta). The Branchis directly managing the rice

processing and milling plant in Tan Thuan Hamlet, Lai Vung District, Dong

Thap Province with processing capacity of 25 tons per hour.The Branch has

factory which has proccessing and packing line for ricewhich is being supplied

to other member companies of Hapro for export. In addition, the branch is also

among top rice exporters of the Corporation. The factory was invested with

modern assembled line and most – updated technology under strict management

and inspection in order to make stable rice quality meeting the export standards

to overseas markets. On 13 June 2018, theFood and Drug Administration (FDA)

has issued certificate of registration for rice from Dong Thap factory toexport to

US market.

The Branch can purchase and process the rice upon customers’ demand as

the factory processing capacity is around 100,000 – 150,000 ton per year. Its

export markets include such countries and territoriesas: The Philippines, China,

Indonesia, Malaysia, EU, Africa, Middle East, USA.., etc with government

contracts. The Branch is planning to expand its export markets to other countries

of Africa and Middle East.
