Dear Parents,

We are now in the final stretch of the 2016/2017 Academic Year and staff are in

the final stages of completing their syllabi. It is extremely important that students attend school regularly in order for them to benefit

from the revision that is taking place. Grade 11, 11D and 12D are on study leave from Sunday, 7th of May. However, staff are avail-

able every day and students can come in to see them. if students do attend they will need to abide by the uniform rules and will

not be allowed in if they come in home clothes.

We are entering the last few months before the end of year and students should start preparing for their final exams in May/June. Therefore, it is extremely important that stu-dents don’t miss any school or come with requests to leave early. Staff are working hard to prepare the students and do revision and can’t help students who are constantly absent.

* External exams for our Grade 10, 11 and 12

Students start on the 7th of May.

* 18th of May The Graduation Ceremony for

the Grade 12

Our swim team under the leadership of Ms. Tatijana participated in the

MEUC Competition in Dubai and did exceptionally well. Congratulations to everybody and especially those

students who won medals.

On Monday, 1st of May we had the official opening of the new Gym and Basketball Court. Sohar International and As Seeb International School joined our students and had great fun in the coaching clinics. Thank you to Mr. Jacques, and the whole PE Department, for organizing this won-derful event.

The registration process for the 2017/2018 Academic Year is still ongoing and parents who have not yet confirmed their children’s’ seats are urged to do so as soon as possible as spaces are becoming very limited.

The Grade 12 GED students have already started with final assessments in some subjects. We can’t stress enough how important it is that Grade 12 students are not absent and complete their work on time. The MOE will start visiting schools on the 14th of May to evaluate the portfoli-os.

The Graduation Ceremony for the Grade 12 students are scheduled to take place on the 18th of May. Grade 12 parents are all invited to this highlight in their son/daughter’s school career. Ms. Itisar and Ms. Gosh and their teams have once again worked extremely hard to organize this; for this we thank them.

We are delighted to announce that the newly renovated indoor gym & basketball court was

officially opened on the 1st of May. During the event there was a ceremonial golden plaque unveiling conducted by two members of the

ministry to mark the prestigious occasion. Students from ABQ, ASIS & SIS were then treated to well conducted training clinics to

improve their skills in Basketball, Volleyball & Handball. We now look forward to utilizing these world class facilities to their full poten-

tial!

استكمال المناهج الدراسية. ومن المهم للغاية أن يحضر الطالب للمدرسة بانتظام حتى يتمكنوا من االستفادة من

االفتتاح الرسمي للصالة /مايو 0االثنين، شهدنا يوم الرياضية الجديدة وملعب كرة السلة. وانضمت مدرسة

صحار الدولية ومدرسة السيب الدولية إلى طالبنا و اسنمتعوا كثيرا في جلسات التدريب. أشكر األستاذ جاك،

وقسم الرياضة بأكمله على التنظيم لهذا الحدث الرائع.

السنة الدراسية وال تزال عملية تسجيل مستمرة، و نطلب من أولياء 1107/1101

األمورالذين لم يؤكدوا بعد مقاعد أطفالهم أن يفعلوا ذلك في أقرب وقت ممكن ألن األماكن أصبحت محدودة

جدا.

لقد بدأت اختبارات نهاية العام لبعض المواد الدراسية لطالب الصف الثاني غشر وإنه لمن المهم جدا حضور الطالب وإنهاء جميع األعمال المطلوبة منهم في الوقت

المحدد، علما بأن وزارة التربية والتعليم ستبدا زيارة مايو 01المدارس لتدقيق ملفات الطالب ابتداء من

حفل تخرج طالب الصف الثاني ومن المقرر أن يقام و جميع أولياء أمورطالب الصف /مايو. 01عشر في

مدعوون لحضور هذا الحدث المهم في مسيرة 01ابنهم/ ابنتهم المدرسية. ولقد عملت األستاذة انتصار و

فريقهم مرة أخرى بجدية بالغة األستاذة غوش و لتنظيم هذا شاكرين لهم جهودهم.
