Bon Voyage HOLIDAY HOMEWORK Kids, the much-awaited holidays are here yet again and it’s time to play and have fun!! We have planned for you some fun activities to make the optimum use of your energy and give a vent to your creativity so that you continue learning during the holiday break as well. Parents are requested to encourage their ward to do the homework independently. They can support the child if he/she needs help. Creativity and originality of the work will be appreciated.     hottest at its midday. If the sun rises

    temperature increases by 4 degrees

    centigrade every hour.

    Mock Mars Mission: How to Pack the Red Planet Way

    Our next destination in the human exploration of space will

    probably be Mars.

    Plan Ahead! Decide the list of stuff that you need to carry along, on 19 weeks journey to Mars.

    The list includes amusing asides: clothing for 19 weeks should be okay for "much re-wearing."

    The list includes standard items like clothing, toiletries, outdoor gear, a sleeping bag and a

    flashlight. Everyone needs to have a personal laptop. Scientists must also bring items such as

    GPS units, rock hammers and topographic maps.

    Must fit everything into a 1 cubic meter box.

    ACTIVITY 1: DESIGN YOUR OWN SPACE CRAFT

    Do you love travelling to space? Imagine that you are an astronaut who is planning to make own space

    craft . How will you do it? What are the facilities that you are going to include in your spacecraft? Design

    your own 3-D spacecraft using waste materials. Prepare a report about it in an A4 size sheet.

    observe the moon every night for 30 days. Draw the shape of moon that you see

    each night in the box given below and write the date also. You can start this

    activity from 10th of July.

    Create a colourful nonfiction cards on 5 stunning endangered species in the middle East and give the solution to protect

    them ( support your project with the beautiful pictures )

    Each card should contain nonfiction text features, written work with information from the text features, find an example of cause and effect, compare and contrast, create a bar. Objective:
