Application: Deployed Inter-Station Communication
● W3PGC needs to ask KB3IIE questions about traffic on the tactical net
● Old way: sneakernet/runner, shouting, paper airplane, etc.
● HSMM/IRC: chat it!

Notes
● IRC Clients should be self-contained and not require access to the Internet (XChat is a good choice)
● Clients are available for Mac, Windows, and Linux and they all inter-operate
● Operators can create channels for specific functions or to mirror nets in use during the event: tactical, resource, e.g.

● Click the link on the router's mesh status page. You may already have an IRC client installed, otherwise...
● Download XChat: http://xchat.org/ and configure it using your call sign as your nickname
