CAPSTAN N-JECT LF - THE ANSWER TO LIQUID FERTILIZER APPLICATION

The N-Ject®

LF system transforms your toolbar from ordinary to

extraordinary by eliminating the need to change orifices for different

liquid fertilizer application rates or speeds. Instead, the N-Ject LF

system changes the orifice size automatically as it quickly responds to

changes in rate or speed, providing accurate row-to-row uniformity

through a wide range of application rates.

N-Ject LF uses Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) to create an

automatic variable orifice for all your liquid fertilizer application needs.

The operation could not be simpler with this clever design. When the

rate controller increases or decreases the flow, N-Ject LF automatically changes the PWM cycle to adjust flow in-

stantaneously with a 25:1 rate range.

N-Ject LF operates with all flow based controllers. So if you are already using an Ag Leader, Trimble, Raven, Green-

star, or TopCon controller, no need to worry. The N-Ject LF will seamlessly integrate directly with your controller., to

create the most user-friendly operating experience possible.

CAPSTAN N-JECT NH3 - THE MOST ADVANCED, ACCURATE, AND AFFORDABLE NH3 APPLICATION SYSTEM AVAILABLE.

Designed specifically for anhydrous ammonia, Capstan Ag’s N-Ject® system

provides accurate row-to-row uniformity through a wide range of application

rates, while allowing for variable-rate applications. Like the N-Ject LF system,

the N-Ject system eliminates the need to change orifices for different fertilizer

application rates or speeds, the system changes the orifice size automatically

as it quickly responds to changes in rate or speed.

HOW N-JECT® WORKS

Warm NH3 liquid and vapor enter

from the tank, pass through the

screen, and enter the inlet chamber

Gravity helps to separate vapor from

liquid.

NH3 passes between cooling tubes

to condense vapor into liquid

Super cooled NH3 liquid enters the

rail passage ready for metering.

The solenoid valve pulses open to

allow the correct amount of NH3 into

the outlet passage.

NHE liquid vaporizes in the

outlet passage, causing

the cooling tubes to get

very cold.

NH3 leaves the outlet tube

and is routed to the knife for

application to field.

With over 40 years of seed monitoring experience, The Vanguard System now provides more information and

more capabilities in a non-population monitor.

Bar graphs show both high and low flows for each row. At a single glance, the operator can see total

performance of his system. Switch to the new line graph, and a single row becomes the focus with a 20 second

history to detect skips and doubles. Min-Max-Average mode lets the operator know exactly how his planter is

performing.

The Vanguard VM-4000 series monitors are totally new from start to finish. They feature new

concepts designed by engineers who know farming. The economical VM-4100 is a 16 row monitor that is plug and

play for seed monitoring only up to 16 rows. Even the monitor harness is designed to connect to any common planter

or drill harness, either a standard pin configuration or a John Deere pin out. That’s a feature found on only the VM-

4100/4200 to make it the simplest and easiest monitor to instal l and use.

The VM-4200 and VM-4400 include many additional features for the operator who wants to know more about

the performance of his planter or drill. It’s easy to set-up and easy to operate. This sheet details the many features

found on the VM-4200/ VM-4400 that you expect from The Vanguard System.

New for 2015 is Visu-Flo Technology. Monitor liquid flow directly from the screen. Monitor liquid flow with

optional flow meters as a companion to seed monitoring, or use exclusively for liquid. Options include monitoring up

to two rates simultaneously.
