The operators of Intercontrôle together hold 146 EN 473 certifications awarded by COFREND, the French Nondestructive Testing Association, including 131 level 2 and 15 level 3 certifications.

Qualification of methods and equipment : All equipment used and methods implemented on nuclear power plants are qualified according to the applicable codes (RSE-M, ASME).

Flamanville 3 EPRTM inspection

Intercontrôle provides all of the automated inspections on the EPRTM reactor of Flamanville 3: inspection of reactor pressure vessel, steam generator tubes, vessel head bolts and nuts, control rod drive mechanism, 44 welds of main coolant line. For this purpose we have developped new equipment like MIS 9, the next generation of in-service inspection machine for RPV.
