High Level Goals• Long term goals

– A committed and dedicated stakeholders who want to be involved in STEM (Government and Businesses)

– A MoU from Department of Basic Education and Science and Technology – To be the only recognized organization in South

Africa for science fair competition – To make it compulsory for all schools to participate – include into curriculum – To encourage learners to be involved in research projects– Embed EBL into pre service training at universities

• Short term goals– Establish a bank of mentors to assist students– Increase the number schools and participants at regional level– Expand pool of SRC members for continuity of quality– Recognition from government and media – Training of inservice teachers
