Do you have advanced skills in neonatal nursing andthe passion to develop into a leader in your role?
As a senior member of our multi-disciplinary newborn careteam, you’ll plan and facilitate the discharge of infantsfollowing neonatal surgery. Working closely and collaborativelywith other clinicians, your focus will be to secure the mostappropriate care for each infant and their family. With excellent infant assessment skills for discharge, parenteducation, risk-assessment, feeding and the confidence to work autonomously when needed, you’ll investigate andimplement appropriate treatment, ensuring a smooth transitionthrough our unit to home.
At the Children’s Hospital at Westmead, your experience andknowledge will be valued in our environment of evidence-based practice and person-centred care. Registered, eligible forauthorisation as a Nurse Practitioner or enrolled in a NursePractitioner Masters Program, you’ll already have at least fiveyears’ advanced nursing/midwifery practice during the last sixyears and have demonstrated your capabilities with excellentcommunication skills.
